Planning to give birth at UT No direct budget Epidural, low intervention

I am a first-time mom who will be delivering by C-section around November 10th due to a rare, serious complication (vasa previa). The baby will be delivered pre-term at 36 weeks (or even early if there are emergent circumstances). My husband and I are considering hiring a postpartum doula during the first weeks when the baby comes home (we do not know yet if she will need NICU time and won't know until the birth). Do you have availability in November for postpartum services and would you be willing to travel to Delaware, OH? Do you offer initial consults over Zoom? Thank you, Gabriella

Pensacola hospital. I’m hoping to use insurance I’m not sure if that’s possible. I’m still early in my pregnancy so I don’t have too much planed . I want a quiet/ dimmed environment. I don’t want the epidural unless I change my mind in the moment . I want to be put in more natural positions rather than birthing on my back. That’s all I’ve thought about so far.

Would love to give birth at home if I can. I had a very bad experience in a hospital with my daughter my birth plan was not respected at all and the nurse was a complete jerk. I am very adamant about having an unmedicated birth this time.

I am giving birth at OSU with the midwives. I am keeping the same midwife throughout pregnancy (rather than meeting with lots of them), so am expecting an unknown midwife at the birth. Because of this, I want to have the consistency of a doula I know will be at the birth. This is my 2nd birth. It was helpful to have a doula the first time for tips and tricks and to give my husband ideas and I hope for the same again. I had an unmedicated vaginal birth last time and hope to do the same again. We have Tricare insurance and ideally would find someone covered by insurance.

As if right now plan to go Grove City Mount Carmel, VBAC try unmedicated for less risks . C-Section was 7/29/24. Will be roughly 22m apart. C-section reason stayed 5-6cm dilated and fetal tachycardia with medication. Tried everything for a couple hours nurses recommended. Budget just depends on ranges no idea how much the prices are .
