Hello, I plan to give birth at home and am open to a water birth. I have tried reaching out to multiple midwives but have not had any luck finding someone available. I am 23 weeks pregnant, feel great, baby is active and am so thankful. I have not seen any doctor and truly do not want to have our first baby in a hospital unless necessary. We are willing to work with your company on price, and understand the flat rate is $6000.00. I have a supportive family who I know will be available to help after baby comes. The main need is having someone qualified and experienced to help deliver our baby at home, and know what to look for during labor for any potential complications and making a wise judgment to get more help. Hi there, my name is Jenny- may I am a single mama to soon to be 5 children. I’m currently 17 weeks and 5 days pregnant with my 5th baby and moving to the Cobourg area. I have been having the hardest time finding a midwife that has availability to assist me with my planned home birth ( waitlisted everywhere) or not in the catchment. I have spoke with some other doulas and friends and have decided that I’m open to an unassisted home birth if necessary. It had come to my attention that there is a term called Traditional Birth Assistants who are not medical professionals but perhaps have more experience with the birth process. It is my understanding that these Birth assistants are typically found by word of mouth. I was wondering if you had any knowledge of anyone practicing this in the Cobourg or surrounding areas?

I would like to do a home birth using Tricare insurance coverage upfront only. There is a possibility of postpartum/ night nurse assistance at a later time. Not entirely sure of a "plan" beyond that. I will be giving birth in a hospital. I am planning on a nondedicated birth. No interventions unless necessary and no induction. I haven't yet set a budget as I am not sure of the average cost of this service. If possible I would prefer a payment plan.

Plan to give birth at hospital, estimated budget less than 1500 for all services, birth plan is generally both baby and mom arrive/deliver safely. I have tricare and cigna (cigna is my primary insurance and tricare is my secondary)
