I have no plan just yet. I am currently seeing an OBGYN, but have not made a definitive decision on my delivery process.

My birth plan emphasizes informed consent, flexibility, and feeling supported and heard throughout the process. I would like support creating a calm birth environment, minimizing unnecessary interventions, and encouraging immediate skin-to-skin contact after birth when possible. I also value support for my partner so they feel confident and involved during labor and delivery. In addition, I am seeking a lactation consultant who can provide both prenatal education and postpartum, hands-on breastfeeding support. I would like guidance with establishing breastfeeding, ensuring a proper latch, understanding feeding cues, and troubleshooting common challenges such as soreness, supply concerns, or newborn feeding issues. I am interested in evidence-based, nonjudgmental support that aligns with my feeding goals while remaining flexible if circumstances change. Overall, I am looking for professionals who are warm, knowledgeable, inclusive, and respectful, and who can provide reassurance, practical tools, and advocacy to help me feel confident and supported throughout birth and early feeding

Another support system I can rely on in a new state. Most of my family will not be around for the birth and I need someone I can trust to help me deliver my baby safely, advocate and listen to my needs to ensure I make it through child birth. I plan to give birth at the hospital, I already had one baby but my experience in birth was really bad I wan someone that knows about birth that can fight and care for my needs My in-laws at giving me this experience away so I’m not really sure what is their budget I want to have golden hour skin to skin with my baby, delay the cut of the umbilical cord, they are my priorities, and I want to learn about breast feeding, with my first we didn’t have the support we wanted at the hospital with this and didn’t know how to get it so I couldn’t breastfeed.
