I am pregnant with my first baby and am looking for a midwife and doula! I would love to give birth at a birthing center (really do not want to give birth at a hospital) and have a natural, unmedicated birth with the doula, midwife, and my husband in the room. We are looking for supportive women who view childbirth as an empowering experience, who focus on a nurturing environment for the mother, partner, and baby. We are looking for individuals who focus on communication, respect, and a positive and safe experience for our family.

We’re looking for one person who can be both our Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula for overnight infant care. We’re located in South Redondo Beach Beach and would be giving birth at Torrance Memorial Hospital. Our Doula would need to meet Carrot requirements including certification. But open to it if it’s recommended. Was recommended with my last birthing experience because I didn’t know the proper tools to bare contractions.

We are having twins and I would love to work with a doula to help us prepare for the birth of twins as naturally as possible along with aftercare postpartum. We are giving birth at St Mary’s Medical Center in Apple Valley and we really don’t have a budget. Hoping it can be covered by insurance. I do not have a birth plan yet and would love to discuss.

I know there’s not a lot of options up here in the high desert. I’d really love the support of a doula during labor while in the hospital. I’m not ready for a full at-home birth experience.

I plan do give birth at a hospital. I would like to use my Anthem blue cross Prudent Byer PPO insurance. I am being induced on Dec 18th, because of placental insufficiency and growth restriction due to a Down syndrome diagnosis. I plan to get an epidural, so I am ready to go if we need a C-section. I will be 37 weeks pregnant with our first baby. I plan to have my husband and my mother in the room with me during the induction process. I would also like to breastfeed.

Interested in VBAC support. After a traumatic first birth, I’m looking for a healing second birth.
