I am currently 11 weeks pregnant so I just getting a head start on looking for a doula. This is my second pregnancy. My first birth was in a hospital setting and everything went great up until the last couple of hours. I thank having extra support with me could have helped tremendously. 1. I am planning on giving birth either in a hospital or a birth center. I want to have as much support during labor especially if I choose a birth center since that would be an unmedicated birth. 2. I am not sure of budget but I definitely want to stay on the lower end of the budget. 3. I really want to choose a birth center and with that I know I would want to be fully prepared for an unmedicated birth.
