I plan to give birth at Mount Sinai South Nassau. I'm not sure what my budget is or birth plan (but not looking for unmedicated per se). I'd like a midwife or doula to be present at the birth/guide me.

I'm hoping to give birth at home in a relaxed setting, likely with only my husband present. I am looking for a midwife (ideally CNM) for my pregnancy as well as the delivery of my baby. I also would love to have a post party doula who will handle meals, laundry, assist with night feeds and changes etc.

My due date is June 28th, and I am now exploring my options for labor and delivery. A water birth has always been my preferred choice, and I am currently considering alternatives to a traditional hospital setting, including birthing centers. I'm giving birth in a few months (6 months pregnant now), and am looking for a doula to be there when I give birth. I have Aetna insurance and want it to be covered by insurance. Giving birth at NYU Langone in Kips Bay, Manhattan, and I'm interested in delayed cord clamping, unmedicated birth, etc.
