About me

I have almost 20 years as an experienced maternal-child health nurse and 10 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner with an extensive background in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, Newborn Nursery, and NICU care. Caring for mothers, newborns, and families has been a major focus of my nursing career, and I understand how important knowledgeable, compassionate support can be during those first weeks at home. My philosophy is that newborn care should be safe, nurturing, individualized, and centered around the entire family. I believe parents should feel supported rather than overwhelmed, especially during those first weeks at home. My role is to provide calm, knowledgeable care for their newborn while creating an environment where parents can rest, recover, and build confidence in their own instincts.

Service introduction

I provide comprehensive overnight newborn and postpartum support designed to care for both baby and mother during the transition home. Newborn services include feeding support, bottle preparation, burping, diapering, soothing, swaddling, safe sleep practices, monitoring feeding and sleep patterns, cleaning and organizing feeding supplies, and assisting with establishing healthy nighttime routines. For postpartum mothers, I provide compassionate recovery support, breastfeeding and pumping assistance within my scope, hydration and nutrition reminders, medication reminders, comfort measures, emotional support, and general observation for postpartum concerns that may warrant follow-up with her healthcare provider. I can also assist with light baby-related tasks such as washing bottles and pump parts, preparing the nursery for the next day, and restocking newborn supplies. My goal is to allow mothers to rest and recover while knowing that both they and their newborn are receiving attentive, experienced, and nurturing support.
