After weeks of shoulder blade pain I needed to find some relief. I was thinking maybe a massage, but I had good experiences with chiropractors, many years ago, so I decided to find one. Wow. I picked Awaken because I am partial to mom and pop businesses; they care more and are more personal. That decision changed everything. Two of the nicest people I’ve met. Professional and upbeat. Using their new technology, they identified my issue was in my neck and addressed the problem accordingly. After a few sessions, I was a new man! One added benefit was my equilibrium improved dramatically. Dr. Rob takes the time to suggest ways to improve your overall health and recommended hanging from a pull-up bar. Game changer! Dr. Victoria is so nice and welcoming. I am very glad I found Awaken Chiropractic Center and I would highly recommend their services.

Dr. Victoria and Dr. Robert are two of the most amazing souls I have met. I started bringing my daughter to them when she was just 6 weeks old and me a brand new first time, very overwhelmed and concerned Mom. We had a semi-traumatic birth experience and as such my baby struggled regulating herself. At that point she was well over a week without pooping, refused to open her hands (kept them in fists), was having trouble meeting her first few milestones and was so wound tight she was struggling to nurse properly. I knew how helpful chiropractic care is since I had gone to someone as a child myself, so one late night after a very rough, emotional day, I searched online letting my heart lead me. I found Awaken chiropractic and immediately filled out the form. They contacted me the next day and had us in at the next availability. When I sat down with Dr. Victoria, she was so kind from the moment we stepped in, so gentle with my daughter and so patient with me when my overly emotional, overwhelmed postpartum momma heart started crying as I let out my concerns for my daughter. Through the entire evaluation and adjusting of my daughter, she was calm and understanding. Dr. Victoria even checked her mouth and helped me not feel crazy by letting me know she felt a lip and tongue tie which the pediatrician had even missed. By the end I could visibly see my daughter was more relaxed and at ease in her own body. By the time we had got home she had her first blow-out diaper. I had never been more happy and relieved when that happened. It got even better the more we went. From once a week, to 3 times a week then daily poops; she also nursed better than she had in days. For the first time I didn't have to supplement with formula and it was amazing. My daughter is now going on 14 months old and we have been going to see Dr. Victoria and Dr. Robert ever since that day. Going to see them almost feels like going to see family at this point. She loves her adjustments and get excited to see the Dr's. She is thriving. She is hitting every milestone and is even ahead on a few, she is already about to walk. My youngest son is 20 months old, he was born a bit early and has had some what you would consider “developmental delays”. After going to see Dr. Victoria, in just 5 visits my son went from communicating pretty minimally, to whining! That may sound backwards, but the whining was him finally communicating his feelings and his wants to me. He began to point to what he wanted and whine. He started to try and climb up on things but couldn’t quite make it, so he would whine. The “whining” may seem counterproductive to most, but when your child isn’t confident enough, or even aware enough to let you know what they want, whining is a win! His neurons are finally working together and you can truly see it in his eyes after Dr. Victoria works on him. He has progressed so much in just a few weeks and we couldn’t be more thankful. We came into Dr Victoria with alot, we needed help, our sweet boy was having potty accidents so much so that he was going to get kicked out of school, he is 5yrs old and in Kindergarten, we also needed some sleep! He would wake up often crying, aggression and anger was a big one too. After just a few visits Dr Victoria released the stress in neck that was blocking the brain to bladder/bowels and he is doing great! We potty trained him again and he is doing fabulous. The stars aligned when I found this practice in March of this year. After dealing with months of debilitating Eustachian tube dysfunction and tinnitus, I decided to follow up on my massage therapist's recommendation to visit Awaken. Just 3 adjustments brought the relief that had been elusive, even after 2 months of 4 time daily inhaled nasal steroids. However, that was just the beginning, old neck pain resurfaced, along with an array of other symptoms that culminated with development of neuropathy. Recently, I was diagnosed with vitamin b6 toxicity. This neurotoxin likely played a role in all of my symptoms. I have so much to say.. but I will keep it short and beautiful! I had tons of issues from living a rough life, as in the type of work and how hard I was on my body. 5 years ago I had a tree trimming and landscaping business that I loved running and working it. I started having pain in my wrists and hands and pretty soon I had no grip strength or wrist strength. I went to 5 different doctors that all said I had carpal tunnel syndrome and they wanted to do steroid injections. I said absolutely not, I want a solution not a bandage. Over time it got worse and I got real down on myself and depressed and anxiety ridden like you wouldn't believe. I 100% gave up. I have been receiving chiropractic care from Dr. Victoria since May 2023 for Webster pregnancy adjustments. I am about to give birth in a couple of weeks. I have had frequent back pain problems throughout the last ten years caused by vehicle accidents, and the pain seemed to get exacerbated with weight gain. Despite a considerable pregnancy weight gain, I have had ZERO back pain (or any problems whatsoever) throughout this entire pregnancy. I highly recommend going to see Dr. Victoria! I made an appointment because I tweaked my neck and couldn’t turn it fully. Not only did she help me with that issue…. But I’ve been having headaches for the last 18 months and her re-aligning my Vertebrae released the tension and almost instantly released the foggy feeling I’ve been having for months. She took the time to explain to me the why behind how different points of tension impact different parts of my body and how I have just learned to compensate and protect myself from pain over the years. My next visit is on Wednesday and I’m beyond excited to have found her. Dr. Victoria is knowledgeable and truly cares about patient experience. I would highly recommend her. (P.s., I typically don’t take the time to do a Google review, I think this might actually be my 1st, so it should speak volumes to how positive of an experience it was)

Dr. Victoria gives the most thorough adjustment. She never rushes. You know she truly cares for her patients the way every doctor should.
