I want to give birth in a hospital, with my OB I would like to have a doula assist me during labor, my budget is $1800.

We’re moving midway through the pregnancy to the DC region, Maryland side. We’ll probably live in the Rockville area but I’m hoping to give birth with the midwives at George Washington University’s hospital. I’m looking for a labor doula to support an unmediated birth. I also struggled with low supply with my first child so I’m hoping to find a lactation consultant who specialises in that. We have Tricare, which covers both doulas and IBCLCs.

Plan to give birth at VHC, looking to have a low intervention/nonmedicated birth and delivering may 1st. Looking to spend under $2k. I am over 35 and conceived through IVF but so far a healthy pregnancy

Hospital birth in Silver Spring MD, using insurance to cover costs so I will require a doula in-network or contracted with Carefirst Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, no specific birth plan yet other than preference for vaginal birth.
