I am looking for someone who can be my advocate during labor. Someone who will speak up for me and bring my husband and I comfort during the time. I plan on delivering at Edward Hospital. I do want an epidural but I would like to be able to move around prior as much as I can and not be restricted to the bed.

Cryptic pregnancy finding out 31 weeks pregnant at 10 week ultrasound appointment. I am extremely overwhelmed and unprepared. I am planning to give birth at hospital. Looking for insurance covered service first and then out of pocket. Want to avoid pain medication and epidural if possible. Would like to have someone that up to date on certifications and have been practicing for at least 10 years. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO HSA

We plan on giving birth at OSF Little Company of Mary Hospital. We would like to delay chord clamping, delay bathing and introduce bare skin contact as soon as possible. We would like to delay examination. For the birth we would like to only use an epidural if absolutely necessary and would like to try other forms of pain reduction (nitric oxide); also limiting cervix checks. Not quite sure of an estimated budget. Postpartum, would like assistance in breastfeeding and getting the placenta into pill form for nutrients.

I will need help postpartum. I will also need help with mental health. The most immediate need would be exercise.

I would like to give birth at the Sinai birthing center, unmedicated. I have no clue what a doula costs but I’d be willing to pay around $2,000 for the birth. Dr. Forgie is my OB and delivering doctor. She’s the bomb and is very accepting of all plans.

I plan to give birth at rush hospital or northwestern. I plan on using Medicaid, I have Molina healthcare Illinois. I would like an experienced and knowledgeable doula to be present during my labor to advocate and support me and I would like postpartum care for the baby at home.

Have had t miscarriage since the past. I am extremely nervous with his pregnancy that it will happen again. I am showing signs of major anxiety about it. It was recommended that I look into a doula. HELLO FRIENDS! At the time I am writing this I am 7 weeks pregnant. But I am not a first time mom. My oldest is 12 and my youngest is 7. I had a pretty difficult pregnancy and birth with my first daughter. She was born at 30 weeks and she stayed in the hospital for 57 days. My second daughter was born at 39 weeks. My doctor sweep my membrane, broke my water, Pitocin was also given. I had 3rd-degree tearing and with both girls I had no epidural. I want help creating a birth plan, I want a doula in the room with me when I am in labor plus birth and, I am open to added bonuses. I half scoliosis and I had spinal surgery so I cannot have an epidural. I value an holistic approach but my main focus is a safe delivery. As a woman of color my biggest fear is not being around for my older children. Their father passed from cancer in January so safety is very important to me. I am open and reading all the messages I receive. I also live in Milwaukee and would like my FSA to cover the fee through my employer. I look forward to finding a doula that works for myself and the doula!
