Hello! I just learned of these benefits so I know I’m looking for a doula late. This will be my second birth, my first was a Csection. My OB says I’m a great candidate for a tolac. I want a vbac, possibly unmedicated. I need help with how to get birth ready. Also, someone who can advocate for me. I live in Canyon Country, but will be giving birth at Kaiser Woodland Hills.

I likely will have a C-section, and with a toddler and dog we would love some support during postpartum recovery, including lactation support, helping with my physical recovery (what to do, what to avoid) and help around the house (cooking, cleaning up, laundry). Hello! I'm a first-time mom who plans on giving birth at Cedar's Sinai, and would like to plan for a vaginal birth. I'm new to this whole process so am not sure exactly what I'll be needing and am mostly just curious if my insurance covers any doula care. My insurance is Aetna Choice POS II, and my ID number is W2834 19281.

We live in Playa Del Rey and planning to have a birth in Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. Our estimate budget is $1500-3000 but this will depend on the available options. I am working with a midwife as my primary care provider, and for now we are planning on a natural birth, preferably no induction (unless medically required), maximizing freedom to move during birth. I want to have an epidural as an option if I need it but I am planning to go without it for as long as possible and see how it goes. I am 25 yo, this is my first baby (a boy). We are looking for a russian speaking doula who will be able to help during birth and also provide guidance in postpartum journey (newborn care, pp recovery). Cleaning / cooking / laundry is unnecessary and is not a primary reason for our search but could definitely be beneficial!
