Looking for newborn care 1 month old baby including feeding, diaper change, bathing etc. Postpartum support like laundry, cleaning and help with cooking. Second language Hindi is preferred
Hello, My name is Megumi and I’m writing this inquiry from Japan. My sister who lives in Illinois gave a birth the day before yesterday. Since I live overseas and unable to fly out there for the time being to help her I’m trying to figure out a way I could be of any support for my sister even if I’m physically away. One of the few things could be to help find her an experienced doula since she and he husband are too busy looking after their baby and helping each other now. Not sure what kind of requirements my sister would need but based on my own experience when I had a doula here in Tokyo about 5 years ago I think someone definitely with certification and several years of experience would be a must, and also being able to cook and do basic house cleaning would be ideal. What’s average doula fee is like there? I only had one in Japan so have no idea.
Postpartum care for at least 4 weeks.... Holistic mother and baby care
I'm 26 years old and a first-time mom, feeling a bit overwhelmed since I don't have experience with motherhood. I'm looking for support from Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and hoping to find a free doula to assist me with my newborn during my postpartum period, as I don't work and can't afford extra help. My goal is to have a natural vaginal birth without using an epidural. I have a Meridian Health plan. Looking for a postpartum doula to help after the baby is born for just 2-3 hours.

Experience with multiple children is a must. The job involves feeding, changing, and engaging our child in age-appropriate activities during the weekday daytime. We want someone who can create a safe, joyful environment for our little one. If you are enthusiastic and responsible, we’d love to hear from you!

I plan to give birth at the Evanston NorthShore Labor/Delivery Hospital. I am on Medicaid but I wouldn’t want to spend more than 300$ out of pocket. I want to birth as natural as possible, I wouldn’t want an epidural unless it really comes down to it. I would want to avoid any cutting or tearing in my vagina. I’d like to push out naturally rather than get a C- section.

Birth Duola and Postpartum Duola. I plan to give birth in the hospital, my total estimated budget is 2,000.00 thats the maximum amount that my insurance will cover.
I plan to give birth at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. I am looking for a supportive and experienced midwife who can help guide me through a natural birth. My goal is to have as natural of a labor and delivery as possible, using breathing techniques, movement, and positioning to manage pain. Medical interventions would be my last resort, but I understand they may be necessary if there are safety concerns for me or my baby. I would like someone who is patient, encouraging, and communicates well so I feel supported and calm throughout the process. My budget is flexible depending on the services provided.

I'm considering a home birth, my budget is 2k, and I'd like to just stay home without medication so I'll need mental/emotional/physical guidance for comfort measures.
Hi! I wanted to share a little about the support I’m hoping for during labor. I’d really like to try for an unmedicated birth if possible, so having help with breathing, positioning, and counter pressure during contractions would mean a lot. My priorities are being able to move freely, delivering in the position I choose, delayed cord clamping, and keeping interventions minimal if everything is safe. I’d also love a calm, dark, peaceful environment. My pregnancy has IUGR, so there’s a chance I may need to deliver earlier than expected. I’m hoping for someone who can support me emotionally, help advocate for me if needed, and also guide my partner on how he can best support me during labor. I’m planning to use Medicaid/Blue Cross Community if possible, and I also wanted to ask if it would be possible to be matched with a Caucasian doula for my own comfort. Thank you! 🤍
