About me

I'm a full spectrum doula and award winning birth photographer. I bring a deep commitment to honoring your unique history and birthing philosophy. Your body, your birth! It matters to me that you feel seen, heard and held during this pivotal experience in your life. I am firmly committed to providing you with non-biased, evidence-based information regarding childbirth and baby feeding options. I will accompany you down whatever path your pregnancy leads. Hands-on support, comfort strategies for labor, effective positions for pushing — these are the things people expect from their doula. What’s harder to name is that heart connection when someone truly sees you in your powerful, vulnerable glory and speaks right to your core. “You are doing this and I am so damn proud of you.” I am here for that.

Service introduction

Along with the three levels of doula support listed below, I am also available for postpartum support booked in four hour increments. Prenatal visits are focused on childbirth preparation and lactation education. Postpartum visits help you feel supported and nurtured in this tender time. You may need sleep, you may need nursing help, you may need to process the events of your birth -- you deserve a supported postpartum experience.
