Hospital Tricare and Medicaid Vaginal birth with epidural. Possibly assist due to high risk pregnancy.
Hospital birth, unmedicated, as natural as possible, advocates for me, includes my husband
I unfornately have to give birth in a hospital and need help with doula services. I would like to feel safe and have a knowledgeable advocate in the birthing room. I have a rudimentary birthing plan but I am eager to take advice. We are hopefully covered with insurance so prayerfully our budget can stay around $600.
Right now I am just exploring my options. I am interested in hiring a doula to help me advocate for my needs/wants during my hospital birth. I have no idea of a budget as of yet.
Someone to help with birthing process and be supportive
We will be giving birth in the hospital. I'm not sure about budget, because I truly have no idea where to start. I am wanting to try to go unmedicated, delay the cord clamping until the cord is white and has stopped pulsing, no eye ointment after birth, baby directly on chest after birth for golden hour, no bathing vernix. That's all we've come up with so far but are continuing to research vaccinations!
I’m looking to hire a midwife or a doula or both! If I am able to find a midwife then I’d really like to do a home birth but if that ends up not being an option I would like to hire a doula for a hospital birth. My budget is $2500 but I am flexible and am looking to see if insurance will cover. I have WV Medicaid. I’m looking to have a natural birth with no interventions, and have a doula or midwife that will support and help make that happen. No age requirements, would prefer someone who has had at least one baby but if not that’s ok too! I’m a 21 year old married, first time mom! No special needs or requirements. Someone with knowledge on breastfeeding would be great as well!
Natural birth either at home or in the hospital Natural/herbal remedy support throughout pregnancy
Hospital. Unsure of anything else. Looking for info.
I’d prefer a doula with VBAC experience, laboring at home, hospital birth. Help with meal prep would be nice
I want to give birth at home unless there are complications or unless I change my mind during the dialating process and want to give birth at the hospital
I’d like to give birth at home and need full on care for this time. My budget is $4-6k if possible. I’m new to this had my past births were unnatural but in hospitals
Wondering for a friend if you do placenta encapsulation ?
At this point I don’t really have a birth plan aside from giving birth at the hospital. I don’t know if I want an epidural or not. I really am just looking for someone outside of my drs office to be a support person for the remainder of my pregnancy and postpartum.
I’ve always wanted a home birth but I’m high risk for pregnancy. I’m not really sure what my budget would be because I’ve never looked into something like this with my first pregnancy. I would like to push naturally but I more than Likely would have to have a c section
I want to give birth in a hospital but with the help of a doula/ midwife. I would love to have a water birth but unfortunately my local hospital doesn’t offer it, i was hoping maybe a doula could bring the supplies to my hospital and assist me, if allowed.
I am a healthy 21 year old woman and this is my husband and I’s first pregnancy! We live in Mount Hope, WV and are looking for a midwife who would be able to support us through a natural holistic homebirth or birth center birth preferably. We are looking for someone who believes that my body is capable and created for child bearing and who would provide helpful instruction about nutrition, exercise, and mental preparation for child birth and postpartum!
