8 weeks with my first, I just need someone who I can take to the hospital with me, who can speak “medical” for me. Someone who knows what do if and when I don’t. I do plan on going to the hospital, the only l&d hospital near me is Cabell. I haven’t sat down and made a birth plan, would also appreciate help with that. I am getting state Medicaid extremely soon.

I want prenatal care that is different from the typical OB experience. I want something more laid back and natural. This is my 5th pregnancy. I’ve never had major complications and have had all vaginal births. I would still like to deliver in the hospital with the epidural but I want the prenatal experience to be different this time.
I’m looking to hire a midwife or a doula or both! If I am able to find a midwife then I’d really like to do a home birth but if that ends up not being an option I would like to hire a doula for a hospital birth. My budget is $2500 but I am flexible and am looking to see if insurance will cover. I have WV Medicaid. I’m looking to have a natural birth with no interventions, and have a doula or midwife that will support and help make that happen. No age requirements, would prefer someone who has had at least one baby but if not that’s ok too! I’m a 21 year old married, first time mom! No special needs or requirements. Someone with knowledge on breastfeeding would be great as well!
