Hi, I’m Nicole! (she/her) I live in New Westminster with my rambunctious toddler, and my husband. We love exploring the outdoors and attending toddler playgroups together. I also love listening to podcasts and dancing in Zumba classes. I have completed both Holistic Birth Doula & Postpartum Doula training through MotherWit Doula Care, as well as the Step 2 Education Breastfeeding Essentials course. I’m so excited to also be a Prenatal Educator with Birth By Bloom/ Dancing Star Birth and teach expecting families at Pomegranate Midwives in East Vancouver. I am certified in CPR-C (trained in CPR for babies, children and adults) for your peace of mind. I have completed a mentorship from Morag Hastings of Apple Blossom Families and Dancing Star Birth. Hi I'm Aya (she/they)! I am a full spectrum doula providing support through fertility, birth, and postpartum. I am also trained to support abortion and loss. I have an background in somatic therapy and herbalism, and have an affinity for Asian and Mexican birth and postpartum traditions. I am mixed race of Japanese and European descent and am queer and non-binary. I love to support LGBTQIA2S+ families, and also provide accessible and affirming support for neurodivergent folks.

My path to becoming a doula began with my own births. As a mother, I have experienced how deeply birth can shape a woman. My last birth, supported by a doula, showed me the quiet power of being held without judgment, without pressure, just steady, present support. It changed everything for me. I have attended seven births so far, each one strengthening my respect for this work and deepening my calling to walk alongside women as they welcome new life. I have completed my doula training through Douglas College, where I developed the knowledge and skills to provide thoughtful, informed, and compassionate care. I believe birth is not something to be feared, but something to be witnessed and supported through. A doula holds that space, grounded and aware, so the mother can let go. With one foot in the conscious world, we create safety, allowing her to turn inward, trust herself, and fully enter the experience. In that space, she returns to herself. She rises into her instinctive, powerful nature. This is the heart of my work.
