My pregnancy and labor was many things, mostly emotional and physically draining however, Shenika made the experience one that I can never forget! Through my pregnancy I could ask her any question and she would answer genuinely and honestly. She worked a lot with me on mental health which helped me to worry less leading up to labor. She also helped me feel confident in times when I struggled. Shenika has a way about her that is very calming, which made the delivery easier to handle. Any time I felt uncomfortable, worried, or anxious I could listen to her voice and know I was okay. After my daughter was born Shenika was a huge help around the apartment. When I needed rest she cared for my home so that all I had to focus on was me and my daughter. I’m forever grateful for her support and kindness during my first pregnancy. When I’m ready for another baby, I’ll be booking Shenika!

Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between the hourly and monthly rates for the holistic birth package?
The only difference is time and money. I offer both packages at the monthly and hourly rate to make my services accessible to every family.
In the monthly package, you are given a discount on each service and have access to more time for each services.
At the hourly rate, there is a bit more planning towards making sure the mother receives all services within the package.
For example: Suzy is due in June, which means she has a month and a half to book Shenika for services. Suzy decides to book Shenika for 2 days a week at 3 hours each session for a total of 6 hours a week leading up to labour. For her labour, Suzy booked Shenika for 12 hours. She then added an additional 12 hours because her labour was taking longer than she expected. During postpartum Suzy booked Shenika for 3 nights a week at 3 hours a session for 4 weeks. In total Suzy used Shenika’s services for a total of 96 hours (96h X $68.00 = $6528.00)
This example explains how you can mange your budget by paying for hourly services as needed however, no one truly knows how much care will be needed. In the long run, choosing the holistic birth package at the monthly rate ensures you’ll never have to pay more.
The holistic birth package at the monthly rate gives you 170 hours of service for the duration of a month with the option to increase if needed. Prenatal, labour and postpartum services are all inclusive within the monthly rate.
