Jody's presence, during my deliver, brought such a sense of calm and reassurance. She was kind, accommodating, genuine, and incredibly supportive. One thing I will always remember is how Jody constantly reminded me to come back to my breathing when I would get completely zoned out from the intensity of the contractions. In those moments when the pain felt overwhelming and I found myself losing focus, her gentle reminders helped ground me and bring me back to myself. She knew exactly when to step in and what I needed without ever making me feel pressured. Jody is incredibly knowledgeable, but what makes her truly special is the serene and calm presence she brings into the room. Even during the turbulence and intensity of delivery, she remained steady, reassuring, and composed. Her calm energy was something I could lean on when everything around me felt overwhelming. I absolutely recommend Jody to any family looking for a doula who brings not only knowledge and experience, but also warmth, calm, and genuine heart to her care of not just the mom and baby but the entire family.
