Preferably one that I’ll have my own space and not have to share an area with someone. -I have insurance but no outside midwife/doula take insurance. I want someone who can take insurance or has a payment system to split payments or doesn’t cost 7,000. This is a must for me due to not having the time to pay out of pocket. -For my birthing plan I don’t ask much. 1. I only want one or two people on my care team. 2. No rushing through the process. 3. I want the cord to be white before being cut 4. No constant fetal monitoring -I want a licensed and certified doula/midwife

Hospital may be necessary as I have positive test results for lupus anticoagulants (a misnomer, not necessarily lupus, but my blood clots quicker than normal). Local doctor wants me to be on Lovenox from 8 weeks until delivery. I’m wondering if there is any other way that is proven safe for my condition. No idea about budget, but I have a faith-based medical bills-sharing program that will cover the cost. My birth plan would be to give birth in my home if possible, which is 1 mile from the hospital. But if that is not advisable, in the hospital, to have emergency care at hand if necessary, but I want as low-intervention and low medication as my condition will allow. I want to mantain as much autonomy in my birth experience as I possibly can, and I don’t want doctors or nurses intervening, demeaning, or guilting me into anything unless I decide I want that care. My birth experience would be quiet with my husband there, with a shower, walking, eating small snacks to keep strength up, drinking herbal teas and using natural herbs and supplements to make the birth easier. I would like a midwife or doula( not sure which I need) to be an advocate and offer support and peace of mind through the process. If there are complications within her expertise of care, like turning a baby, etc. I would prefer most of my care to come from a midwife/doula.

I plan to give birth at OU hospital in Oklahoma City, I am covered through my husbands united health care plan. I plan on having a VBAC birth, my husband wants to cut the cord, once its completely white. I also want to be able to move freely and comfortably during labor. I plan to have a water birth at home, I would prefer my fiancé be in the pool with me, after the baby is born i would like to do skin to skin contact with him and also let my fiancé, i want him and i both to cut the umbilical cord, when it’s time to clean the baby i want my mother and father to clean him off, while my fiancé takes care of me and what i need at that moment, birthing the placenta ect, then i will get out of the pool get dried off and lay in a spot we have fixed for me to hold the baby and breast feed him, when it’s time for me to rest then i would like for him to get weighed, and anything else that needs to be done while my parents take him and my fiancé helps me take a shower then me and my fiancé will lay in the bed with our baby boy and fill out the birth certificate. very open to suggestions also!! i hope to not spend more than $300 medicate takers would be best.
