I have had a very traumatic experience with my previous obgyn and I am very uncomfortable with the whole process. I was treated like a number and I was experiencing symptoms that should have been incredibly alarming. I begged for her help and was met with cold indifference. The symptoms progressed, leading to my daughter's incredibly early birth at only 24 weeks. The fact that she had a very smooth experience in the NICU and was released from the hospital right on time for her due date was an absolute miracle! I'm not having any symptoms that I have been concerned with at all with this pregnancy. I'm about 23 weeks along now and have no bleeding episodes, no amniotic fluid loss, no symptoms that indicate anemia or diabetes, this has literally been the most normal pregnancy I've ever had and it's my 4th. I have an ob who is very nice but I can't get an appointment scheduled less than 2 months out at a time and she's rescheduled on me twice. This is concerning and I am fearful of having a similar experience with her as I had last year. I want to have a home birth with a midwife who is interested in the health of baby and myself and who has faith and is Respectful of the relationship between our minds and bodies. I have insurance and I am able to cover additional costs.

I plan on having a home birth in Lander, Wy. I'm looking for visual appointments leading up to the due date, and then a midwife for the delivery to preform stiches and newborn care. My budget is open, however I prefer it to be closer to $3k then $5k out of pocket costs. I have Bluecross Bluesheild Insurance.

I don't mind a hospital birth but I want an advocate there to coach me through labor and make sure the staff carry out my wishes even the baby is born. I would prefer to give birth at me home in the bath or a small pool. This is my 3rd child. I have always wanted to have a water birth. If not, I am currently being seen at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, OK. Im not 100% sure about a budget. Would need to be discussed. I would like to do an all natural birth, however, I'm not too informed on the best way to go about that. Same for helping with comfort the further along I get in the pregnancy. I dont really have a birth plan. I would like to have one. I know that I would like to go without an epidural, in water if possible, at home, and possible exercises to help me prepare for baby. Along with all natural supplements I should/could be taking.

Right now I am currently looking at different options. I have 2 children now 16 and 20. I have had 4 surrogacy babies after my children and finally we are pregnant. I have only ever done hospital births but last 2 were C sections and doctors now really push for that once you've had one. I really want to do the holistic approach. So looking to see my options for this. Otherwise our hospital of birth would be Eisenhower in rancho mirage CA. No idea on pricing since not sure what something like this cost etc. We are trying to save since I am self employed and will have to take time off work which means no income coming in but same token best option and safe delivery is priority so can't put a price on that.

I have been searching for a midwife or Doula that will accept insurance. I would prefer a birthing center but I have not found one that would be an option, I am perfectly happy being in a hospital with a midwife or doula with me. I'm currently with GPS but trying to find a place to switch to where I can have a midwife or doula.
