I am hoping for a VBAC after a semi-traumatic cesarean experience. I believe my best chances to achieve this would be through help of a doula and a midwife, as the current OB I see pushed for an early induction last time and I can feel that's the direction she's pushing for this second pregnancy. The OB only pushed for induction and brought up cesarean based on baby's projected size. First son was 8lbs 12.5oz at birth; so not small, but certainly not over 10lbs as they had insisted. My current plan is to give birth at Henrico Doctor's Hospital (where I delivered my first), but am open to other options such as a home birth or a birthing center. I would love to try for unmedicated this go around. I am not a high-risk pregnancy, I have a healthy BMI, baby is healthy, no gestational diabetes, no markers for preeclampsia or hypertension, so I believe and feel strongly that I can attempt a VBAC + TOLAC.

I am about 15 weeks right now. I have been waiting to get accepted by Medicaid before I began searching for a doula (not to have my hopes crushed)! I am 27, and this will be my first child. I believe I will most likely give birth at the hospital. I would like to do a natural birth, and I really want to get on top of it and get someone who I can trust to help me. I am so excited and grateful to have the opportunity to have a doula, and I so look forward to speaking with you.

Would love to give birth at home. I had a hospital birth for my first when we planned to give birth in a birth center. But were sent to the hospital to be induced because I was 36 hours ruptured. I don't know the going price for at home midwives. I would like it to not be more than 3K. I would love to do a completely unmedicated and no intervention. It’s in my intentions to have these things available and set up in the delivery room: Essential oils and a diffuser, a small space for an “altar” of Jesus (really just a tiny ritual to feel close to him), a Himalayan salt rock, plenty of water on standby, as well as tranquil music, Italian ice and banana popsicles, and whatever else I can conjure up before the baby arrives. I do not want to be on my back giving birth. I want to be as relaxed as possible, considering my condition as a more naturally at-risk, pregnant woman. I want to be able to push quicker and easier than I may be able to on my back. If possible, I would love a short labor experience, as long as my baby allows me to.

I am pregnant for the 3rd time. I'm due around July 6th. I will be traveling cross-country from Dec 15th-Jan15th. Then flying internationally throughout Jan-April/May. We will then drive cross-country again to be back in the Hagerstown area to give birth near family. I plan to give birth at the hospital but a at home birth would be ideal. My budget is low because i’m not working. My birth plan is someone who will advocate my needs to an unmediated birth, helping with all things to get through the birth.

I am looking for full care from preconception midwife to postpartum and annual womans care or involvement. I'd like to have a full natural birth at a birthing center or at home. I need dietary and nutritional help as I have some preconception goals. I believe in animal based diet views and organ supplements. I'd like someone that takes insurance but I am open to self pay, I am making a lot of lifestyle changes so cost within reason is something I expect.
