Looking for a holistic midwife that can help deliver my baby in a home birth in Greenville NC

Undecided I’d like to give birth naturally- not on my back and with minimal intervention.

I plan to give birth at a birthing center or hospital with support of a midwife. My estimated budget is $3,000-4,000. I do not have a birth plan and would like help making one. I’m a first time, mother and 24 years old.

I am planning on having my baby at a hospital. I am hoping my insurance covers the services. I would like an unmedicated birth, with all the benefits for my baby after so no delayed cord clamping, etc.

I am looking for further education on deciding on a home birth. I am leaning towards a home birth, but want to make sure it is right for me. I currently do not have a budget as I am not familiar with what to expect as far as pricing. My husband and I do not yet have a birth plan.

Hi! I’m currently looking for a midwife for a planned home birth. I do have a birth plan that I’d love to go over with the right person. At the moment I’m not exactly sure what my budget will be since my partner will be covering the cost, but we’re hoping to find something affordable and possibly a payment plan if that’s an option.

I would do it in the hospital but I don’t want it to feel like I’m in the hospital, I don’t want the staff bombarding me and intervening every 5 seconds. I want to do it naturally, in better positions than what the hospital wants me to do… I’m not positive about all of the rest but I just want someone that’s going to vouch for me while I’m vulnerable and I fear my husband is too nice and they will walk all over him… I’m not even sure about an estimated budget but I do know I would need someone who takes tricare to help with the cost!

I need a midwife for a home birth that is local to Stuart. This is my second pregnancy and with my first labor and delivery was 1 hour and 17 minutes so I need someone local and someone who has the care and experience to know if anything goes wrong. There were no complications with the first and both baby and I are healthy. I am located a mile from Martin North. I gave birth in a tub with my first and can provide everything to do the same with the next delivery. We paid close to 7k for the first child out of pocket and are hoping for something cheaper.

First time mom, first pregnancy, so wildly uneducated in all of it! Would prefer to give birth at home or birthing center, hospital as last resort. Not sure on budget, obviously if covered by insurance that’s preferred. Ideally around $6,000. I would prefer an unmedicated birth, and that’s as far as I’ve gotten in a birth plan.

We really, really want a home birth. We have 3 other children, and they were all born at home in another state. I’ve had 3 miscarriages in the last 5 years. My fourth pregnancy, 2 years ago was a healthy, full term baby who is now 2 and doing amazing with no complications during my pregnancy or my delivery. I’m now 21 weeks pregnant with my second son and my experience with UPMC has been nothing but stressful and uninformative. My charts have yet to be corrected for the last 2- 3 months I’ve been going to them. I’m at the point where I don’t feel like my doctors are listening or caring about my wishes/concerns. I am starting to lean towards a home birth with minimal intervention. With my son I got to 9 1/2 cm dilated before I got my epidural last minute and had no issues or barely any discomfort with my contractions. This one is a bit more uncomfortable and I would like to try to do the same as before but without medicine. I have no issue going to a birthing center if need be, I know the travel home with my last hurt me a lot so I was hoping to minimize the distance of travel for my second time around. I also had issues with my son latching for breastfeeding and went to see a lactation consultant twice but she took over an hour to come see us each time which resulted in my son screaming of hunger so I would end up bottle feeding him before she’d come as she took too long and then refused to help us when she heard he was bottle fed so I would like to learn more about breastfeeding if possible either through classes or having someone help me after birth. Our budget is probably $2500-4000. I’m not sure what my insurance covers but would love to look into it more with someone if we can. I’m at the point where I don’t trust my current providers, as too much has gone wrong or missed and I just want to cancel all appointments until I give birth so I’m hoping this is a better alternative for me.
