Hello! I’m Alejandra or Alex. I am a compassionate, informed and inclusive Full Spectrum Doula who provides holistic and educational support across the entire spectrum of reproductive experiences. My identity and beliefs system shapes my practice as a gentle and empathetic guide who seeks to support each person in achieving their ideal birth experience, while honoring the sacredness of this profound life transition. I'm grateful for the opportunity to create space that allows my clients to show up vulnerably and authentically as they embark on the transformative journey that is pregnancy, birth, postpartum and parenthood. Lavender Beginnings offers specialized care that allows clients to feel safe being vulnerable and fully authentic. We center space for the emotional, physical, and spiritual shifts that accompany pregnancy, birth, and parenthood, welcoming the integration of spiritual and ancestral practices.

Birth & Postpartum Doula services

At Lavender Beginnings, we offer virtual and in person pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support packages. In addition, we offer single session services, Reiki treatments and Limpias ( Mexican traditional medicine spiritual cleanse). Lavender Beginnings is committed to accessible, compassionate care and may offer sliding scale fee arrangements to clients who are experiencing financial hardship and are unable to afford the full cost of the Birth Support and/or Postpartum support packages.

Alejandra was very supportive as my doula and I am grateful to have had them as part of my birthing team. We collaborated to create my ideal birth plan and they helped expose me to considerations I had not previously thought of. They gracefully adapted with me as my plans developed in real time. The prenatal appointments helped me feel more empowered and knowledgeable about what to expect throughout the phases of pregnancy, during birth, and postpartum. Alejandra was a grounding and compassionate presence throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I highly recommend working with them!
