I’m looking to have my first all natural birth for my 2nd baby.

I would like to have a water birth at home, be able to move and hope to be IV free as I get very irritated by it in my skin. I am open to a hospital birth as I've had one previous but wasn't happy with the outcome of my last birth. Not quite sure on budget yet.

This is our first baby and I would like to try to give birth naturally in the hospital (St. Luke's Anderson in Easton) and delay getting an epidural (if at all- a needle in my back freaks me out) so i can move around more until the baby is in the proper position for delivery. I am looking for a doula with the experience to coach me on how to breathe and move my body to minimize pain and keep me (and my husband) calm and focused throughout the process. The initial plan for pain management will be guided movement and nitrous. I would expect to need a doula for at least 1 day with some communication ahead of time to help me prep mentally and physically. Our budget is ~$500-850 but depending on the services, may be willing to pay more.

First-time parents seeking an experienced newborn night nurse/care specialist or postpartum doula to provide overnight support for our baby girl during the first 6–8 weeks after birth (starting late September 2026). Schedule is flexible, likely around 10 PM to 7 AM. We are looking for someone with extensive newborn experience who can provide expert overnight care, assist with feeding, soothing, and sleep routines, and offer guidance and reassurance to new parents. I would like to stay flexible while aiming for as low-intervention of a birth as safely possible. I just moved to Stewartsville, NJ and I am a first time, soon to be mom. I am currently in the process of transferring obgyn and haven’t found a hospital yet. What I do know is, I want a unmedicated birth. I am looking for someone who could help me prepare myself for labor as well as postpartum recovery. I have years of experience with children of all ages so I am not too worried about daily newborn tasks. I am most concerned about my well being before and after birth. My husband also works nights so there is a possibility I may need some assistance at night if things aren’t going well but I obviously won’t know until we get to that point! I am hoping I can find a doula that is covered by my insurence as well. I have blue cross blue shield and my secondary insurence is tricare. I hope to hear back soon!

Birth plan- home birth, standing or water birth. Break to my lower back makes regular back birth not an option. Allergic reaction to most pain medications. Age 33 ( 34 at due date) no risk pregnancy so far. Rheumatoid arthritis & psoriasis. Plan to breast feed, supplement only if necessary. Need assistance on choosing vaccines i will allow. Have Cerebral Palsy, mobile but needs assistance. Can't stand for more than 5 minutes. Plan on giving birth at St. Joseph Rt 183. No vaccines, Christian. Planned C-section need help with house maintenance during recovery.

Hospital or homebirth, haven't fully decided yet. I have Medicaid which reimburses doula, so I need a certified doula that is covered by Medicaid. Minimum of 5 years experience is requested. No special needs.

We are expecting our first baby, and I will be 37 at the time of delivery. We are planning to deliver in a hospital, either at Abington Hospital (Jefferson Health) or St. Luke’s in Spinnerstown/Quakertown. Since this is our first baby, we really don’t know exactly what to expect, and I’m looking for a doula who can provide both emotional and physical support throughout labor and delivery, as well as help advocate for me and my wants and needs. My partner is amazing and incredibly supportive, but I also know that when emotions are high, it may be difficult for either of us to clearly communicate our wishes, ask the right questions, or advocate for ourselves without becoming overly emotional or confrontational. I would love to have someone experienced in the room who can help us navigate those moments, explain our options, remind us of our preferences, and help us feel confident in our decisions without taking over or speaking for us. I would also really value hands-on labor support. I would like to attempt labor without an epidural initially, mostly because I don’t know what to expect from the pain and want to see how I handle it. I have a pretty high pain tolerance (or at least I like to think I do!), and I’d love a doula who can encourage me, help me work through contractions, and use techniques such as massage, positioning, counter-pressure, breathing, or anything else that may help with discomfort. At the same time, I want someone who will support me if I reach the point where I decide I want an epidural. I’m looking for encouragement to keep going when I need it, but also someone who will remind me that there is absolutely no failure in changing my plan if that’s what I need. Basically, I want someone who can help me push through when I’m capable of doing so, but also recognize when I’ve had enough and support whatever decision I make. Before hiring someone, we would love to meet either virtually or in person so we can make sure we feel comfortable with each other and that our personalities are a good fit. Once labor begins, we would want our doula to meet us at the hospital and stay with us through the birth and immediate delivery period. Once our baby is here, your job is done! 😊 We are really looking for someone who can help us feel supported, informed, calm, and confident through the labor and delivery experience while still allowing us to experience it as a family and make our own decisions.

Giving birth at Doylestown with my husband but am going for an unmedicated birth with little intervention so would like extra support.

Prefer experience with Velamentous Cord Insertion (VCI) and advanced maternal age. Also prefer Doula who accepts medicaid (Jefferson Health Plans) but not a requirement. Thank you!
