First baby. Non medicated birth. Delivering at Riddle. I’m not really sure what a doula costs.

This is our first baby and I would like to try to give birth naturally in the hospital (St. Luke's Anderson in Easton) and delay getting an epidural (if at all- a needle in my back freaks me out) so i can move around more until the baby is in the proper position for delivery. I am looking for a doula with the experience to coach me on how to breathe and move my body to minimize pain and keep me (and my husband) calm and focused throughout the process. The initial plan for pain management will be guided movement and nitrous. I would expect to need a doula for at least 1 day with some communication ahead of time to help me prep mentally and physically. Our budget is ~$500-850 but depending on the services, may be willing to pay more.

This is my 4 pregnancy, I have had 2 live births and one miscarriage. I am due 2/20 with a little girl my husband and my first together. I labored mostly at home with my first two. My concern is going into labor while my husband is at work on not having support. My grandma was my support person, helped me raise my son and was there for me for the birth of my daughter. She has since passed and not having her support with me this time is making my anxious. I plan on having my daughter Violet at Phoenixville hospital

Care will focus on the baby overnight, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and safe sleep. I’d also appreciate light baby laundry and bottle cleaning. I need someone in the room to help couch me and my fiance through the birthing of my second baby the first one did not go as how I planned or wanted I had a birthing plan in The midwives and doctors did not follow that birthing plan I did not want to get in epidural and they basically made me get an epidural it was a failed epidural so by pain went straight to my right side I passed out twice and threw up they basically told me I OD'd on the pills and I told him I wasn't feeling good with them they were not listening to me I wanted to get up and walk around before I got the epidural they would not let me do that I need somebody there to keep me calm and I would like somebody to take pictures of me and my fiance wow that special moment is happening I am not wanting to get an epidural with this second baby I am also looking for somebody that nose how to do like milk lactation explaining because the midwives and doctors didn't do very well they just handed me a pump and said there you go and it was so hard for me to get milk out for the first day and I asked him a couple questions of why and they couldn't answer them

Hello, This is my first pregnancy, for both of us. I would consider myself to be relatively low-risk and fit to carry. I am looking for a midwife to oversee my baby and our progress, as well as a Doula for birth and some pregnancy guidance. I have a history of anxiety and depression as it relates to PTSD, so I like to talk things out as they progress. I am interested in a natural birth, perhaps in water, or an at home situation. We have a budget of what insurance can cover and about 150 a month more. I want my partner there for the birth, in a very chill, spiritually ambient environment. Thank you!
