Hospital birth at Methodist West with Iowa Clinic. We conceived through IVF so the likelihood of needing to be induced is higher, however I would like to labor naturally if possible and without an epidural. My husband is a very supportive partner but doesn't feel super comfortable about being able to support me through an uneducated birth. I don't really have any specific other requirements. I would like someone who is experienced and if they are able to help with breastfeeding after birth that would also be excellent.
I would love to find someone to help coach me through my first pregnancy, providing support for my birth plan and also nutrition guidance. Additionally, breast feeding was something my sister struggled a lot with and I fear I may have the same challenges. Someone with some knowledge in this area would be great as well. Overall I love a holistic approach to health care. Working with UnityPoint Midwife Services in Des Moines, Iowa. In person would be great but open to virtual support.
