About me
Hey mama! My name is Amity Handle, and I am a DONA Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula in Ocean City, MD. I have been serving pregnant and postpartum families for three years, and it has been the most magical experience ever! It is an absolute honor to witness the strength and love in the journey of birth and matrescence. Through education, preparation and support, I believe you can experience your own beautiful birth journey! I live in Ocean City with my husband, and together we enjoy surfing, acroyoga, and volunteering at the local animal shelter.

Service introduction
I offer a variety of services that can be customized to your needs! - A Standard Birth Package includes 2 prenatal visits, on-call availability, continuous labor support & 1 postpartum visit ($1200). - A typical postpartum contract (about 100hrs) includes newborn care, breastfeeding support, light house cleaning, meal prep & overnight care ($35-40/hr).

I cannot recommend Amity enough to those who are pregnant or looking for post partum care. Amity was with me for my fourth trimester (and beyond), and she was extremely helpful to both myself and my children. Although I was a second time mom, they were clearly things that I had forgotten, and Amity guided me (for example I had forgotten some things about breastfeeding). She was absolutely wonderful with my kids and it felt like she anticipated my needs before I even knew what I needed. I recommended her to a few of my friends and they also had nothing but wonderful things to say. She was an essential part of my fourth trimester and I only wish I knew her sooner. It was so helpful to have someone looking out for me when my husband and I were trying to navigate our growing family; it made me a better mother. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and reliable doula; Amity is your girl.

Amity was my postpartum doula, and she was amazing! She was so great with our baby. She knew exactly how to help us with the transition to parenthood. When I returned to work, she would come overnight about once per week. This was such a big help. I would recommend her to anyone!
