About me

Hello! My name is Amy Webb. I am a Postnatal Doula in the North East of the U.K. I believe that currently our society does not help women and birthing people heal fully after birth, and I have a passion to change that. I love supporting families practically and emotionally as they navigate the fourth trimester and beyond. I am a deeply passionate person. I am an environmentalist, a feminist and an anti-racist. I work continually to ensure that all people feel included and loved by me. This means being an active LGBTQ+ ally, and creating safe spaces for birthing people and families of all kinds.

On this page you will find a breakdown of my services and pricing. I truly believe that investing in your Postpartum care is one of the best things you can do for your family during this crucial transition. I am also passionate about ensuring that my services are accessible to as many people as possible. Therefore I am able to offer payment plans, adjust my packages and discuss sliding scales on an individual basis. Please don't hesitate to get in touch so that we can discuss your postpartum care, and how we can find the right level for you.

Birth Reflections
Postpartum is forever. So this service is available for anyone who has given birth, regardless of how recently that was. If you need some dedicated time to discuss your birth then I can provide a judgement-free space for this. We will use visual tools to reflect on your journey through pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I am not a counsellor, and this is not a therapy session. This is an offering of space and time, to be truly heard as you tell your story. - This service is available in person or online, and each session is 2 hours. - Travel within 20 miles from Hexham will be included in the total fee below. Further travel will incur an additional charge.

Postpartum Planning Workshop
This service is to provide you with support in planning your own postpartum care. In a 2 hour 1:1 session during your pregnancy we will discuss postpartum expectations including infant sleep and feeding, talk about 'village building', learn about belly binding, learn some simple self massage techniques and prepare a postpartum broth for your freezer. I am able to provide bespoke workshops for small groups, or online. If you would like to discuss this option please get in touch. - Travel within 20 miles from Hexham will be included in the total fee below. Further travel will incur an additional charge.

In home Support
This service is the most extensive option for your postpartum care. I will provide tailored support in your home. This could include cooking nutritious food and drinks specific for postpartum healing, relaxation massages, help with belly binding, basic support with infant feeding, light housework and baby care, birth reflections and emotional support. Full package: - Antenatal session to discuss your postpartum care - Meal prep session during the final weeks of pregnancy - 12 visits during the first 6 weeks after birth (3 hours per visit) - Dedicated phone support during the first 6 weeks after birth - Travel within 20 miles from Hexham will be included in the total fee below. Further travel will incur an additional charge. In Home Support is also available for ad-hoc bookings at an hourly rate of £30
