We don’t really have any family who can help with our 15 month old toddler while I’m in the hospital having Baby #2, so I’m looking for someone who can be a support system for both me and my toddler since a huge stress of mine right now is making sure my toddler is well taken care of if my husband can’t be with her. His mom lives in Arkansas and will head here when I’m in labor, and I want him to go home with our toddler to be with her after I have the baby. I also wouldn’t mind a support system for myself before, during, or having I have baby #2 since I was in labor 29 hours last time and pushed for 4 hours. I also struggled with breastfeeding. I don’t have an exact budget in mind since I haven’t hired a doula before, but I am looking for something reasonable and affordable as we will be paying out of pocket.
