I plan to give birth in a hospital but want to do unmedicated and I want to have pain management techniques and a plan. I don’t have a budget but would love to discuss pricing.

I plan to have birth at a birthing center and I’m hoping to find a midwife that will take my insurance Arizona Complete Health.

I'm a first time mom expecting twins! I want as much education as I can get and extra support during delivery. I plan on delivering at the Mountain West Medical Women's Care Center in Tooele, UT and would really like a tub birth. I feel that having a doula who is specialized and equiped with the knowledge of birth and delivery would help both my partner and I be more confident in the delivery room. I would like to have that extra support that would know how to help or calm me down if my partner gets overwhelmed with everything, as it is our first pregnancy! Not sure specifically on a budget as I don't know estimated costs and don't make a whole lot of money. I have a generalized birth plan written out, but I'm not sure if I'm missing any key details or not.

I want to do it in a calm setting and I would like an affordable price. Birth Plan Environment & Labor Preferences: I would like a calm and relaxed environment with dim lighting. I prefer to move around freely during labor and try different pushing positions. I do not want coached or forced pushing and would like to follow my body’s natural urges. I would also like to eat and drink freely during labor. Medical Preferences: I prefer limited cervical checks and would like to avoid an epidural unless it becomes medically necessary. Delivery & Immediately After Birth: I would like delayed cord clamping until the cord turns white. I want immediate skin-to-skin contact after birth. Newborn Care: I prefer that the baby is gently wiped off instead of bathed right away, and I do not want a bath during the hospital stay. I do not want the Hep B vaccine given at birth. Feeding & Bonding: I plan to breastfeed and would like support with breastfeeding. I prefer that my baby stays in the room with me at all times (no nursery). And then any follow up questions I have after birth. My midwives are an all natural service so no pain meds, just the tub or bed.

I plan to give birth at St Luke’s hospital in Meridian ID. I’m early in the process and would love to have insurance cover it but not sure what on the budget. I had a neo-natal loss and had an emergency c-section, followed by a vbac with a now healthy 2.5 year old. I was induced by a balloon and then pitocin and ended up getting an epidural. I would like a more natural birth and ideally would like to start labor at home and have more tools to do so and cope and have more ways to progress labor. My husband won’t have any TK E off so I am planning on laboring alone and looking for an educated support person/coach.
