Hi, I am a Certified Lactation Counselor and Military Lactation Counselor of almost 8 years working to support breastfeeding families no matter where they are in their journey.
Grovetown, Georgia
I’m Laura, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a Bachelor of Science in Maternal and Child Health and Human Lactation. I offer both virtual and in-person consultations, providing breastfeeding Support and infant feeding support to families globally and locally in CSRA, North Augusta, Augusta, Martinez, Evans, Grovetown, and surrounding regions. My specialization includes addressing concerns related to oral function and mobility, nurturing gut-health alongside lactation, tackling challenges such as low milk supply and relactation, optimizing pumping techniques including flange fitting, overcoming bottle feeding difficulties, and supporting families with older babies. These areas aren’t just my skills—they’re also my passion. I’m dedicated to staying informed about the newest updates to ensure every family receives the best care and the most current information available. As both a lactation consultant and a mother to a 9-year-old wild child, I’ve learned that a successful breastfeeding journey involves more than just latch and milk supply. I take a deeper look, seeking to understand the ‘Why?’ behind challenges and to provide compassionate and honest care. I believe in nurturing your ability to advocate for yourself and your family throughout the breastfeeding journey. With each breastfeeding journey being unique and each family having their own goals, you can expect me as your lactation consultant to think outside the box, considering various factors that can influence breastfeeding and infant feeding challenges. Each session with me is dedicated to fostering open conversations, pinpointing emerging issues, and working together to create customized plans that address your individualized needs.
Laura was simply incredible. She helped me with my third baby, when I thought I had things figured out. He was born with pretty severe tongue and lip ties, and had a hard time breastfeeding. Laura was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and kind. She was personable and compassionate, and walked the line between being a friend and being a professional. Laura helped us navigate a frenectomy, projectile vomiting, overproduction, and lots of emotions. We loved her, and cannot recommend her highly enough!

I am a military spouse and mother of two, dedicated to providing compassionate lactation support, helping mothers navigate their breastfeeding journey with confidence, ensuring they feel nurtured and reassured every step of the way. Walking alongside families virtually nationwide and in-person in the CSRA.
Working with Alannah during my second postpartum season felt like receiving a warm hug just when I needed it most. Her understanding and caring nature truly shines through, as she genuinely wants the best for both you and your baby. She approaches troubleshooting with a supportive spirit, making you feel like you have a true teammate on your breastfeeding journey. The postpartum period can be incredibly lonely, especially with the rapid learning curve, and I can’t help but wish I had Alannah by my side during my first newborn season as well. She's the best!

Hi all mamas, I’m Tara and I’m certain I’m the right doula for you and your growing family. I’m a mother of three beautiful children and I’ve experienced three very different births personally: medicated with epidural, all natural, and an emergency c section. I also breastfed each child for over a year and offer lactation support postpartum. I fully understand the physical, emotional and spiritual challenges of pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood. I believe a new version of the mother is born along with the babies. I’m here to advocate for you, to support you and your personal goals. The fear of the unknown is lesser when we know someone really has our back and I will be that person for you. I’ve been an unofficial doula and breastfeeding guru for friends and family for years. You will not have to do any of this alone. I’ll hold your hand, your legs lol and your baby.
I cannot recommend Tara highly enough as a doula. From the moment we met, her warmth and compassion were evident, and she made me feel completely at ease throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. Tara was always available to answer my questions, no matter how trivial they seemed, and her knowledge and expertise were truly invaluable. During labor, Tara's calming presence and practical support made a significant difference. She helped me with breathing techniques, provided comforting massages, and continuously offered words of encouragement. Her ability to anticipate my needs and respond with such care was incredible. It felt like she was reading my mind at times! One moment that stands out is when I was feeling particularly overwhelmed during labor. Tara suggested a change in position and guided me through it, which made a world of difference in my comfort and progress. Her suggestions were always spot-on, and she worked seamlessly with the medical staff to ensure that my birth plan was respected. Postpartum, Tara continued to be a pillar of support. She checked in regularly, offering helpful advice on breastfeeding and newborn care, and was always there to lend an empathetic ear. Her support made the transition into motherhood much smoother, and I felt so much more confident knowing I had her by my side. Overall, Tara's dedication, professionalism, and genuine care set her apart. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her as my doula. I highly recommend Tara to anyone looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate doula.

Certified Holistic Doula Located in Covington GA. Wife and mom of 4 beautiful children. Dedicated to providing professional support to all families Located in metro Atlanta and all other surrounding areas.
Me and my husband just had our 3rd baby, and decided it would be helpful to have a postpartum doula join us during my postpartum recovery period. Let's face it, we were officially out numbered and breastfeeding a little we had our hands full and could use a little help. Brittany was a beautiful match for our home. She has an amazingly warm energy about her and so knowledgeable in herbalism. She jumped right in to help where we needed her to, from helping with the kids, laundry, and dishes. It was so helpful in time where I am not 100% yet. She also offered a kind ear to hear my birth story and offered some good advice on how to navigate our new family dynamic. So appreciative to have met such a kind soul and highly recommend her during your postpartum journey.

Hi, I’m Paisley Wilson — a certified doula, loss mama, and the heart behind Gracious Beginnings Doula Care. After experiencing both the beauty and heartbreak of motherhood, I felt a deep calling to support families through every stage of their journey — from pregnancy and birth to postpartum and even loss. Whether you're preparing to welcome your baby, navigating postpartum, or honoring a precious life gone too soon, I’m here to walk with you — with grace, support, and open arms.
Working with Paisley from Gracious Beginnings Doula Care was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. From the moment we connected, she made me feel seen, heard, and fully supported. Her calm presence, wealth of knowledge, and genuine care made such a difference — not only during labor but in the weeks leading up to it and after my baby arrived. She took the time to understand my birth preferences, helped me feel more confident and prepared, and was a true advocate when I needed it most. Postpartum, she checked in on me, helped me navigate those early newborn days, and reminded me to take care of myself too. You can tell that this work is deeply personal to her, and her passion shows in everything she does. I can’t recommend her enough — she’s more than a doula, she’s a gift.

I can't speak highly enough about Shaniqua. She is warm, extremely knowledgeable, and puts you at total ease. Shaniqua was both my L&D doula and postpartum doula for my first born. I was ridiculously anxious about all things childbirth and newborn care, and Shaniqua was my number 1 support. She is a baby whisperer and absolutely loves her job. It is rare to find people that are so good at what they do. I recommend her to every one I know. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Shaniqua, don't hesitate to book her!!
