Laura Becker
About me
I’m Laura, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a Bachelor of Science in Maternal and Child Health and Human Lactation. I offer both virtual and in-person consultations, providing breastfeeding Support and infant feeding support to families globally and locally in CSRA, North Augusta, Augusta, Martinez, Evans, Grovetown, and surrounding regions. My specialization includes addressing concerns related to oral function and mobility, nurturing gut-health alongside lactation, tackling challenges such as low milk supply and relactation, optimizing pumping techniques including flange fitting, overcoming bottle feeding difficulties, and supporting families with older babies. These areas aren’t just my skills—they’re also my passion. I’m dedicated to staying informed about the newest updates to ensure every family receives the best care and the most current information available. As both a lactation consultant and a mother to a 9-year-old wild child, I’ve learned that a successful breastfeeding journey involves more than just latch and milk supply. I take a deeper look, seeking to understand the ‘Why?’ behind challenges and to provide compassionate and honest care. I believe in nurturing your ability to advocate for yourself and your family throughout the breastfeeding journey. With each breastfeeding journey being unique and each family having their own goals, you can expect me as your lactation consultant to think outside the box, considering various factors that can influence breastfeeding and infant feeding challenges. Each session with me is dedicated to fostering open conversations, pinpointing emerging issues, and working together to create customized plans that address your individualized needs.

Ratings and reviews
Laura was simply incredible. She helped me with my third baby, when I thought I had things figured out. He was born with pretty severe tongue and lip ties, and had a hard time breastfeeding. Laura was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and kind. She was personable and compassionate, and walked the line between being a friend and being a professional. Laura helped us navigate a frenectomy, projectile vomiting, overproduction, and lots of emotions. We loved her, and cannot recommend her highly enough!
