1. Hospital birth - Rush Copley Aurora 2. This is my first time looking into doulas so I'm not entirely sure what budgets look like. Would like to stay under $800 3. I want to have an unmedicated birth, really trying to mentally prepare myself for labor and birth.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. I want to do it without an epidural. Im open to other medicinal interventions and definitely non medicinal interventions. I want my husband to be there and be my support. I want calming environment and God centered motivation. I have no idea what our budget is. We dont have a lot of money so cheaper is better but we won't necessarily cut must have things.

And do it as natural as possible and only go to the hospital if there are serious complications that need more medical intervention

We are extremely new to the whole process, and thus unsure what to expect. We do not have a birth plan, but would like to construct one. We plan for the delivery to take place at Silver Cross Hospital (1900 Silver Cross Blvd, New Lenox, IL 60451). We do not have enough information to provide a proper budget, but I somewhat strained monetarily. I wish we could provide more, but there's very little to go off of.

This is my third pregnancy. My first two were delivered via c-sections with Dr. Ware at memorial hospital. I planned a natural birth with my first but developed preeclampsia towards the end which called for a C-section after the pitocin disturbed her heart rate. The second pregnancy I didn’t want a c-section but towards the end the doctor suggested that it would be the best route due to the history of my first pregnancy. With this pregnancy she announced that c-section would be the plan again but I would really like to see if I’m able to do a natural birth. I’m not high risk for anything. And my blood pressure is okay.

Home birth is preferred. Not sure on budget just yet. Still working on birth plan

Hospital Birth Takes insurance as payment

I am currently planning to give birth at cdh. I’m not sure what an appropriate budget for a doula is so I guess I’m interested in rates. I’d hope to not go over a thousand dollars but like I said I don’t know what is appropriate. I’d like to give birth with the least amount of interventions possible. I will be doing a vbac labor, my first baby will be 2 and 2 months at the date of the delivery and was a cesarían because she was breech presenting.

We recognize this is a significant investment and are prioritizing it because this is our first birth and we are aiming for a low-intervention experience. We are open to nitrous oxide (laughing gas) as a pain management option if needed. Movement during labor is very important to us, including walking, upright labor positions, and frequent position changes to support comfort and labor progress. We are looking for a doula who is comfortable providing early labor support at home, along with hands-on comfort measures, breathing and grounding techniques, and partner coaching. Advocacy is also important to us. We want support with communicating and upholding our birth preferences with hospital staff, as well as maintaining clear boundaries around who is present during labor, including support with limiting family presence in the birthing room. We value calm, evidence-informed guidance that prioritizes safety while supporting our goals.

I plan on giving birth at the CDH Hospital. I don’t know what my budget is at this time. My birth plan is a successful VBAC birth since my first baby was breech.

I would like a doula who can help educate me on all my options around birth and how to best prepare for that. I'd also like them to be present when I'm giving birth, and potentially post partum care. I'm giving birth at Central Dupage Hospital. I learned today that my insurance plan covers doulas that are in-network, so ideally they would be in-network with BCBSIL. I don't know my birth plan, I would like help figuring that out.
