|
Location: Twinsburg, OH 44087, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: April 23, 2026
I plan to give birth at Hillcrest Hospital with an obgyn or midwife. I am not sure of my exact budget yet, but I am thinking no more than $1,000. I plan to labor naturally for as long as possible and use an epidural when/if needed. I am looking for extra support especially postpartum, as I also have a toddler and remember many months of being severely sleep deprived. |

I will be delivering at Fairview Hospital in Lakewood. My budget is that it will hopefully be covered by Molina Medicaid. I will most likely be induced at 37 weeks because baby is on the smaller side and they want him out to help him. Hopefully a natural and not c section birth. |

Stephanie is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula
|
Location: Canton, OH 44704, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: May 28, 2026
I plan to give birth at Mercy Hospital in Canton. First time mom with anxiety, adhd and likely autism while my partner is supportive and will be in the room he is kind of squeamish and not historically has not been the best in medical situations. He is a local truck driver but can be hours away during the day and the thought of going into labor/ at the hospital with out a support person terrifies me. He is also being laid off from his company in April (they are closing his branch) which means he won't qualify for FMLA and is at the mercy of whatever company he ends up being hired by in terms of leave for when baby comes and after. My ideal budget is no more than 1000 although I have seen prices a bit above that. As of right now my birth plan is minimal intervention and without pain meds. I really don't want to have an epidural specifically if it can be avoided...obviously baby/the birth experience can change things though. |

Ashley is looking for Birth Doula
|
Location: Martinez, GA 30907, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: April 20, 2026
1. Not sure where I will be giving birth but leaning towards wellstar hospital over a home birth as of now, but I am still early on and not sure. 2. 1000$ -1200$ would be my budget and I’m trying to stay under if possible as we just got a house. 3. I would like support with: • Breathing techniques • Position changes and movement • Massage, counter-pressure, touch for comfort • Relaxation cues, visualization, grounding words • Use of birth ball, rebozo, warm compress, shower/bath if available • Environment: • Calm, quiet, low lights if possible • Soft music or guided meditation • Limited unnecessary interruptions • Monitoring: • Prefer intermittent fetal monitoring (unless medically indicated otherwise) • Freedom to move and change positions. I want to avoid induction, augmentation (Pitocin), or continuous monitoring unless medically necessary. • If possible, I’d like to avoid episiotomy; prefer tearing naturally if it happens. • Please help explain procedures and get my consent before allowing interventions. I’d like to try non-medical pain relief first (movement, breathing, water, massage, acupressure, etc.). • Open to pain medication (epidural, IV meds) only if I request it — I want encouragement and coping support before making that decision. After Birth Preferences Cord Clamping: • I would like delayed cord clamping until the cord stops pulsing (unless baby’s health requires immediate attention). Skin-to-Skin: • Immediate and uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact after delivery, for as long as possible. • If I am unable, I’d like my partner to have skin-to-skin. • Baby to remain on me during any routine checks if baby is stable. Bathing: • No bath at the hospital. I’d like to delay baby’s first bath until we are home (or at least 24–48 hours). Please perform all non-urgent procedures after initial bonding and breastfeeding, not immediately after delivery. • Feeding: • Exclusively breastfeeding unless medically necessary otherwise. • No formula, sugar water, or pacifiers offered without consent. Environment: • Keep baby with me in the room at all times (rooming-in). • Minimal interruptions during the “golden hour” after birth. |
