I am giving birth in valley hospital. My budget is 1500. I am hoping to have an unmedicated vaginal birth with minimal interventions. I want immediate body contact, I plan to breastfeed, I am hoping to deliver the placenta naturally, and I want to delay the clamping of the umbilical cord. I do not want my baby to have the hep b vaccine in the hospital. I do not want additional people in the room. I want a dark and quiet room with some light music.

staten island hospital, $5k budget, epidural, pelvic floor PT, not sure what else a birth plan entails! Definitely would like to avoid pitocin and c-section.

Hospital (Valley in Paramus) Birth Plan: Epidural, no inducing methods unless emergency, no C section unless emergency, NO vaccines, no vitamin K shot, no student nurses, not a whole lot of cervical checks unless necessary, delayed cord cutting, dad cuts cord, pics and vids by my mom, my own music, essential oils with diffuser, I want to be able to move around until epidural - after epidural I want turned every 30 minutes, etc.

We are overwhelmed with so much information that is out there especially when it comes to vaccinations and certain procedures hospitals do that we want to feel that we have a voice in our decisions and/or birth plan. Hello! I am currently pregnant with twins! I am planning to give birth at Hackensack University Medical Center. I am excited for birth and hopeful to have a natural, physiological birth. My OB practice also values a vaginal birth. I am not sure what to expect for budget for a doula, however, my budget would be around $1,000. I would love to have as little interventions during birth as possible. It’s very important that as soon as the babies come out I am able to hold them immediately. I would like to delay the cord clamping, and delay first bath as well. I also planning to breastfeed twins and would love education and support to be as effective as possible in that area!

I plan on giving birth at the Vassar brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie. My estimated budget is anywhere from 2500 to 3500. My birth plan is flexible at this point. I’m still trying to decide what’s best for me. I’m not opposed to a medicated plan. I would like the Doula to be certified and to have at least 2 to 3 years of experience. I would like lots of resources to childbirth education classes.

Looking for a Birth Doula, at Jersey shore university hospital. I dont want an epidural, this is my second birth- the epidural messed my back up for 6 months last time. I do want pain management. I do want the doula to accept insurance.

Hi, Looking for a doula to help me prepare for childbirth and be present at the birth - hoping for a medicated vagina birth in the hospital (Jersey City Medical center). This is my first child. My husband and I have no family in the country (we’re British from the UK) and so extra support is needed. Would also like support after during the postpartum stage. Unsure on costs for this kind of thing so advice would be great. Thank you
