I plan to have a natural hospital birth and have the help and aid of a doula for knowledge and support

Plan on giving birth at a hospital because there are no birth centers in my area. I'm just trying to find some information on midwives/doulas because I would love to have one assist throughout my delivery. I plan on an unmedicated natural birth.

Hospital may be necessary as I have positive test results for lupus anticoagulants (a misnomer, not necessarily lupus, but my blood clots quicker than normal). Local doctor wants me to be on Lovenox from 8 weeks until delivery. I’m wondering if there is any other way that is proven safe for my condition. No idea about budget, but I have a faith-based medical bills-sharing program that will cover the cost. My birth plan would be to give birth in my home if possible, which is 1 mile from the hospital. But if that is not advisable, in the hospital, to have emergency care at hand if necessary, but I want as low-intervention and low medication as my condition will allow. I want to mantain as much autonomy in my birth experience as I possibly can, and I don’t want doctors or nurses intervening, demeaning, or guilting me into anything unless I decide I want that care. My birth experience would be quiet with my husband there, with a shower, walking, eating small snacks to keep strength up, drinking herbal teas and using natural herbs and supplements to make the birth easier. I would like a midwife or doula( not sure which I need) to be an advocate and offer support and peace of mind through the process. If there are complications within her expertise of care, like turning a baby, etc. I would prefer most of my care to come from a midwife/doula.

I am an IVF patient that isn't quite conceived yet, but I have my embryo transfer on December 9th , so even though it isn't forsake that I will be pregnant then, I want to start looking into doulas now. I want one that Is kind and patient but advocates for what I want more than what they think is best. I want one that understands me possibly wanting an epidural and also the struggles that I have faces to get where I am. I plan to give birth in a hospital, I have insurance that I plan on using with my progeny benefit. I want a calm environment with lights, and calm music , I want counter pressures, and birthing combs or essential oils used if possible.

I have now been cleared for a vaginal delivery and I would love a support person there to assist with my birth plan, while my husband is able to be present.

Giving birth in hospital with a midwife. Need someone to help through labor and advocate for me. I need a doula who accepts Medicaid/Apple Health. Only looking for Christian doulas, as faith in Christ is extremely important to our family.
