Hello, my name is Courtney Flores. My son is 4 months old. I am reaching out because at birth he was in the 44th percentile for weight and at his 2 month well visit he was 36th. At his 4 month well visit he dropped down to the 5th percentile for his weight and I’m concerned he is not getting enough milk. I exclusively breast-feed so I’m not sure how much he is getting. Want help for feeding especially once discharged from hospital

I plan to give birth at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach. I have United Healthcare insurance and would like to have the lowest budget possible. I want an epidural due to not good with pain. I want a vaginal birth only. I would like my doula to be experienced at least 5 years. I would like my doula to help me with sleep training, lactation, nutrition, etc.

My son is almost 4 weeks. I have a great supply and his latch is excellent, he unfortunately doesn’t get full from my breasts for an unknown reason. We have done every method from keeping him awake to switching breasts etc… but my breastmilk in a bottle fills him up greatly. I need help and want to do a weighted feed to figure out the issue asap as I’m at my wits end!

I’m a Christian, and I’m really looking for a doula who can support me physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout this pregnancy and birth. I’m honestly scared, and one of my biggest goals is to have a positive birth experience and to avoid tearing entirely if possible. I want to learn everything I can to prepare my body and reduce my risk of tearing. I also want to learn more about nutrition during pregnancy, including organic foods and understanding healthy versus less-healthy carbohydrates. I plan to breastfeed again and would love support with preparing for that as well. I also have questions about healthy weight management during pregnancy and postpartum and would love guidance on how to safely care for my body while making sure my baby is properly nourished. My husband and I are separated, but I would like him to be able to learn how to support me during pregnancy and birth if he is willing. I would appreciate a doula who can help educate both of us on what genuine, respectful support can look like during labor and delivery. As a Black mother and woman, I’m also very aware of the disparities and racism Black women can face within the healthcare system. Having someone who can advocate for me, help me understand my options, and make sure my voice is heard and respected during such a vulnerable experience is extremely important to me. I really want to feel safe, informed, empowered, and supported throughout this journey.

2 month old with reflux and now developed clicking sounds with feeding. Hoping for an in-person eval to determine if this is a latch issue, tongue tie, or just oversupply. On maternity leave so schedule is pretty wide open.

Single mom of 7.5 week old twins who have been both breast-fed and bottle-fed since birth (I usually breast-feed and bottle feed to top them off each feeding during the daytime (and also pump in the AM and PM before bed to add to bottles), but give formula bottles only overnight while I am sleeping and the night nanny is with them). Both twins are now becoming very fussy with breast-feeding at some feeding sessions (but not at others). Tandem feeding worked before but has not been possible for 5-6 days because of fussiness while feeding and unpredictability of breast supply. Wondering if I need a new strategy or if this is just a fussy stage (6-8 weeks)?

I am looking for a birth and postpartum doula that is covered by Kaiser insurance, who is very knowledgeable about the birth process, potential complications and newborn care, who is open to attending hospitals births. I am planning to give birth at Kaiser South Bay Harbor City. I would like to labor at home with my partner and the doula for as long as possible until it’s time to go to the hospital. I am open to an epidural at the hospital but if I’m doing okay or labor is progressing quickly I am open to not getting one. I hope for an uncomplicated vaginal birth. I’d like the doula to know the difference between interventions that might be offered to me at the hospital that are not necessary and what is necessary/ will help my baby to be born healthy. I’d like a certified doula with multiple years experience, age 38+ or older. I am 38 years old, first pregnancy, have a very supportive partner, and hope to breastfeed.
