Working with Barbara was great! She was a back up doula and when our original doula contracted COVID, Barbara stepped in without a hitch. She provided great guidance via text while I was in early labor at home. Then, when I was in active labor at the birth center, she immediately jumped in providing physical and emotional support. It was also super special that she made a poem of my birth story that she shared postpartum. It gave a record of events that I was in no shape to capture in the moment, and I’ll likely read that poem to my daughter as she grows up <3 My husband especially found Barbara helpful as it allowed him to experience the birth for himself rather than trying to coach me. We loved Barbara and would recommend her to anyone.
