I plan to give birth at Upper chesapeake MD with a midwife. Hoping my medicaid will cover the cost. I want my birth plan to be an unmedicated birth with delayed cord cutting and baby never leaving me. The only thing I want is a female provider.

So that I can do my best to help her. She plans to birth in a hospital. I have no idea how much a Doula cost and the birth plan is what we’re trying to figure out through education

I would prefer a birthing center birth, second best would be at women and babies in Lancaster. My estimated budget is up to $2,000 for a doula. My birth plan is as natural as possible, minimal intervention, husband and doula and my mother present. Preferably a water birth, and delayed cord clamping with immediate skin to skin for the first couple hours. No eye ointment or vitamin k shot. I am also a Christian and my faith plays a huge role in my life and mindset. This is my first baby.
