I would like to do a home/Water birth but I need help creating The Perfect Birthing Plan.

Baby falls asleep while feeding and never seems satisfied, able to pump 0.5-1oz per breast after feeding. Without feeding, pumps are about 1.5-2oz per breast depending on time of day. When giving bottles, baby dribbles milk. Already had lip and tongue ties revised with only mild improvement.

My goal is to have a positive, empowering birth experience. While I would like to labor naturally for as long as possible, I am open to pain management options, including an epidural, if needed. I value informed decision-making, clear communication, and having someone who can advocate for my birth preferences if unexpected situations arise. My estimated budget is to have doula services covered by my Anthem BCBS insurance, so I am looking for a doula who accepts insurance or can provide documentation for reimbursement.

Delivery at GBMC. Small budget. Working on birth plan

I would love to deliver at home. But I think I will have to go to Medstar Harbor hospital. I am hoping my insurance covers the cost I am currently not working. I would like to have as natural as possible birth at the hospital. I want to have freedom to walk around and try a squatting position for birth. I do not have requirements for the provider. I just want someone with a good heart and passion for what they do. I am all alone and need the support.
