It is my first child and we would like to do a hospital birth that have the assistance and guidance/support from a doula. Hoping to have a doula to advocate for me to give me the highest chances of having a natural birth without c section.

We’re looking for a birth doula to support Brenda throughout labor and delivery, with Jonathan as her primary birth partner. We’re also interested in prenatal preparation and postpartum support. We’re therefore looking for a certified doula who accepts and can bill CareFirst, with the goal of having the service covered with little or no out-of-pocket cost. I have had 4 birth C-Sections and 1 ectopic pregnancy that lead to me having a surgery…I would love to not have another c-section and I just need someone there for me to advocate for myself..I would love to have a hospital birth.I don’t know how much any of this cost

I plan to give birth at Howard County General Hospital that is connected with Johns Hopkins. My OB is through Capital Women's Care in Fulton/Maple Lawn, and the OBs rotate there. I had a c-section December 2022, and I believe I was pressured into this when it was unnecessary based on speaking with doctors, friends, and family since. I want a VBAC. I do not have a large budget. I'm trying to figure out how my doulas cost. My family is willing to help a little thankfully. I'm guestimating my budget is $2k. I want someone that will advocate for me, encourage me, and help me to have a VBAC, as last time I was continually pressured to have, and my husband could not advocate for me to keep going and trying. I felt guilty about his anxieties for me, which led me to take an unnecessary and harder process of the c-section, and ended up being much scarier for both of us.

Hello I am looking for a doula for the last months of my pregnancy which will be in November through postpartum which is after December . I do need support with going to my appointments up until delivery and also help with the baby after birth. I will give birth at Mercy Hospital Downtown Baltimore. I do need someone that will accept Medicaid insurance. And will need help at least 3 days during the week after birth

(UMMS) Estimated budget: My budget will depend on what services are covered by my insurance, if anything. I am looking for postpartum support options that fit within my available coverage or payment options. Describe your birth plan: I am still developing my full birth plan, but my main preferences are: * I would like to avoid giving birth flat on my back and would prefer alternative laboring positions when medically appropriate. * I would like my doula and delivery nurse to be my primary support people in the delivery room. * I would like delayed cord clamping. * I would like immediate skin-to-skin contact with my baby after birth. * I would prefer no bath for my baby immediately after delivery and would like to wait until I am ready. * I would like medical interventions delayed unless they are medically necessary. I will need support learning my baby’s routines, feeding, soothing, diapering, and newborn care. I would appreciate someone who can support me as I recover and adjust to motherhood. Additional duties (sleep training, cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc.): My main need is postpartum recovery support, especially nighttime care so I can get adequate rest after birth. I currently go to Signature OBGYN in Columbia,MD so I will be giving birth in Howard County Hospital. I’m currently looking for someone that takes my insurance which is WellPoint. For my birth plan I would to have a unmedicated birth.

Hello I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant looking for a doula near me, accepting insurance (Medicaid).
