I am planning for a hospital birth in Columbia, Maryland but aim to have an unmedicated experience, if possible. Seeking a doula to help prepare better for my third baby due in February. I’ve had two vaginal hospital deliveries but was induced with my first and I ended up with an epidural with my second because I wasn’t prepared for a long labor and ended up with [personal details hidden] and [personal details hidden].

Would like to go as long as possible without an epidural to prioritize movement, but definitely plan on getting said epidural and no desire or need to go fully natural. Would like as much education as support for going into birth, how my husband can support me (counterpressure, advocacy for a generally go-with-the-flow personality, etc.) breastfeeding (a huge goal is to exclusively breastfeed as long as possible, but my mom had to supplement with formula so I'm worried I will have to as well), postpartum, and in general what me and my husband can expect.
