Hi, we are first time parents-to-be, and looking for a doula who can help us navigate hurdles. I plan to give birth in a hospital.

A black woman doula who is Christian and has experience supporting first-time moms with a background in holistic care during birth and postpartum I would like to give birth at home and have a budget of $3,000. My birth plan will include a dim room with gospel music playing, delayed cord clamping until the cord is white and not pulsating, minimal cervical checks, placenta encapsulation, and immediate skin-to-skin after birth with uninterrupted exams if baby and mom are safe.

Home birth, (water birth) We have molina health insurance, I would like a natural, non medicated birth at home in a tub. This will be my second baby. I believe birth is a sacred act and women are 100% capable of doing it without medical intervention (unless there is a legit medical emergency)

Out of hospital birth via birth center (preferred) or home birth. Christian providers are preferred and required for the doula roles. I live in West Seattle and would like to birth close to home. In the past, I've had short labors and gone before due date. Doulas would need to get to me within 30 minutes to an hour of call.

I plan to give birth in a midwife birth clinic separately from a hospital. Trying to find a lower price or sliding scale. Trying to go as natural as possible and avoid as many interventions as possible.
