I'm still very unsure about all of these details and am looking to connect with a few different options to decide exactly what I want to do. I know I don't want to do it at home but think I want to do it at a birthing center as opposed to a hospital and I don't want an epidural.

I always wanted a home birth and giving that I’m now pregnant and also Active duty Air Force, I hear my chances of that are low to not happening. However, I’m allowed to have a midwife and doula and I want one to help me through this! I honestly don’t know how to budget this because I know the military pays for everything but I’m hearing there limitations to how much they cover for a midwife and doula, so if I had to put a number on it I would say $3000. I plan to have a healthy and peaceful birth in a pool in the middle of my living room with my husband by my side and medical team( midwife, doula, etc). I’m not looking anything over the top just a safe and healthy delivery.

Hospital birth, as unmedicated as possible but open to epidural and nitrous oxide use as needed.

Planning to give birth in the hospital. Would like to be able to avoid c section and learn all the techniques and have an easier delivery. I want my doula to be at the hospital with me during labor. I prefer if you were or still is a labor and delivery nurse as well.

I pick up on people’s energy very easily, so I would like to find someone calm and reassuring. I am especially interested in pain relief strategies!!!

1. Planning to give birth at St. Elizabeth's in O'Fallon, IL 2. Tricare insurance, willing to pay a portion out of pocket for the right person! 3. As low intervention as possible - second birth. First birth went very smoothly without medication/complications (Aug 2024).

1. Plan to give birth at hospital. 2. Tricare is our insurance but we are willing and able to discuss prices for what we would need outside of what tricare covers. 3. Plan to give birth at hospital with as minimal interventions as possible, vaginal birth if possible, want alternative birthing positions, Plan on having pain management but epidural only if necessary.

I plan to have a home birth. I’m currently considering a birth team, including a doula. I had intended on it being only myself and my husband present however, I don’t want to put 100% of the responsibility of my needs onto him. I intend to free birth with a lotus birth. I am not open to speaking with anyone that doesn’t understand and support that. I am looking for someone who can hold space, who is in tune with their energy, and emotionally support myself and my husband. I intend to exclusively breastfeed. I will be a first time mom. I am 37. I do not Intend on having any medical interventions. I will not need help with my baby but am open to lactation classes. I intend to continue self educating with free-birthing classes and hypno-birthing classes. Aside from emotional support I am also looking for someone who can cook and understands dietary needs for breastfeeding mothers. Currently in research mode at 12 week. No set budget. I’m looking for value.
