I plan to have a hospital birth. Looking for someone that has at least 2+years experience. First time trying a doula.

I plan to give birth at Women and infants. I think they are planning on inducing me because I am considered higher risk. Our budget is between 800-1000, but can go up to 1200 if it's the right person. My birth plan is to not die basically. I don't know. I know I want an epidural. I don't know what my options are. My husband and I have a history of medical trauma, and so there is some anxiety on his part going in.

What I'm Looking for in a Doula 1.Emotional Support * Someone who is calm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. * Reassurance throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. * Help managing anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. * Someone who checks in consistently and genuinely cares. * A safe space where I feel heard, supported, and never alone. * Someone who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is comfortable offering faith-based encouragement and prayer if I need it. 2. Education & Guidance * Newborn care support. * Breastfeeding and/or formula-feeding guidance. * Postpartum recovery tips. * Baby sleep and soothing basics. * Helping me understand what's normal and when it's time to call my doctor. 3.Physical Support * Continuous support during labor. * Comfort measures such as breathing techniques, positioning, massage, and relaxation. * Light postpartum help, such as meal prep or simple household tasks. * Assistance setting up baby stations and making my home feel ready. 4. What Makes a Doula Stand Out to Me * Easy to talk to and makes me feel comfortable. * Responds in a timely manner. * Has helpful resources and recommendations ready. * Creates a welcoming, judgment-free environment, especially for moms with little or no support system. * Helps moms feel seen, encouraged, and less alone. * Supports me emotionally while respecting and sharing my Christian faith and values.

Would like a midwife to help with me with my first pregnancy

Umass Worcester. looking for someone who would help with birth plan, help advocate during birth/ give me support in labor. I had preeclampsia with first baby and felt unsupported. I want to find someone me and my husband can build trust with and then have them assist us in the delivery room.

Hospital birth, $2500 budget, would like a natural birth

I'm planning on giving birth at Elliott Hospital in Manchester NH. This is my first baby and all of our family lives in VA so I want someone to advocate for me during labor! My husband and I are definitely more on the holistic side of things, I really don't want to give birth laying on my back, we want to do delayed cord clamping, skin to skin right away, and more! I want my birth to be as natural as possible. My goal is for it to be unmedicated but also I know things happen sometimes where that's not an option. Not 100% sure what the normal budget would be for this so that's up for discussion! Our Faith is very important to us too so that has been a big part of my pregnancy journey! I would like more education on home birth, VBAC, natural birth. I would like to give birth at home. My birth plan would include unmedicated, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin to skin, delayed washing.

I plan to give birth in hospital with absolutely no interventions. I have Neighborhood Health Plan of RI. My goal is no interventions, and please I would like to work with someone that practices informed consent and will not get personally angry or treat me differently if I deny a given procedure!

I am early on in navigating my first pregnancy. I will be giving birth at UMass Memorial in Worcester, but I live in Charlton, MA. I am interested in having a birth doula and ideally the same candidate to help when we transition to home life for a few hours. I’m interested in having an unmediated birth, however I am aware that reality might have a different thought. Movement is a necessity for me. I have a wonderful partner, and would like to complement my support team with someone who can help me transition through labor stages as well as navigate the relationship between doctors/nurses.
