I plan to give birth in a hospital. South shore hospital in Weymouth. I had a c-section in 2025 due to failure to progress was told by my provider I was able to try for a vback. My plan is to attempt a Tolac and I’m in need of a doula to coach me throughout the pregnancy and help me prepare for the delivery.

This is my first pregnancy, and because I am naturally a very anxious person, it is especially important to me to have a trusted support person in the delivery room who can help advocate for me. I want to ensure that my wishes are clearly communicated and respected throughout labor and delivery, as I may feel overwhelmed in the moment. Having someone act as my voice will help me feel more comfortable, supported, and confident, and will also help ensure that neither I nor my family feel overlooked during this experience. I will be giving birth at UMass Memorial and am covered by Mass General Brigham insurance, and I want to take proactive steps to make sure my care team understands and honors my needs.

Hospital birth As natural as possible but high risk-bicuspid aortic valve-being seen by MFM Plan to use insurance Birth plan: epidural or possibly not, laboring down as much as long as possible allowing fetal ejection reflex to hopefully take place so minimal pushing. I declined the use of a forceps/suction assisted birth. C section is also still on the table. Want to move about freely or if there’s an epidural in place assistance moving, do not want to birth on my back. Minimal vaccines, delaying schedule and not doing all of them. Must be the preservative free vitamin k shot and if not available then drops only. Delayed cord clamping until white or not pulsating. Baby stays in room with us at all times for all tests etc.. plan to breast feed.

Plan to give birth at Emerson Hospital in Concord MA. This is my first pregnancy! My husband and I are very excited but have no idea what to expect. I feel like everyday I learn something that I had no idea about so looking to understand more about giving birth and the days following!

Hi from a first time older mom (42) with well controlled MS and Graves Disease. My OB team says that I should to be induced a week before my due date. This baby was very wanted and very planned but unexpected to come so fast! I had an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist a few weeks after I discovered that I was pregnant. I’m new to NH (2020) and all of my friends are in the Boston area and had kids some time ago so I’m feeling a bit alone. As my due date approaches I find myself getting anxious! I’m normally a mountain climbing hiker (NH 48) and an Appalachian Mountain Club leader, but just reached the point where walking is the most that I can do. I was told a few weeks ago by my OB team that I shouldn't be climbing mountains anymore. My balance the past two months has gotten worse, so I’d agree, though it’s always been bad! It was been a rough summer for me as my beloved father passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. I’ve taken over his architectural firm since 2023 so I’ve had a lot on my plate! I’d like to have a natural birth, though I’m not sure if being induced means that’s technically not possible. I’m interested in hypnobirthing and anything that I can do to reduce pain, length and the need for a c-section. I plan to give birth at Elliot Hospital and have been being seen at Dartmouth Hitchcock, Bedford. My budget has kept me from reaching out sooner as my husband’s in a different position than when I conceived but at this pint I need help. Cost will not be an issue. As I keep saying while preparing, that what saving are for. Super flexible schedule. That’s me!

I plan to give birth at Women and infants. I think they are planning on inducing me because I am considered higher risk. Our budget is between 800-1000, but can go up to 1200 if it's the right person. My birth plan is to not die basically. I don't know. I know I want an epidural. I don't know what my options are. My husband and I have a history of medical trauma, and so there is some anxiety on his part going in.

I plan on birthing at Umass Memorial hospital in Worcester. I don’t have much of a birth plan yet, but I’m doing my research.

Umass Worcester. looking for someone who would help with birth plan, help advocate during birth/ give me support in labor. I had preeclampsia with first baby and felt unsupported. I want to find someone me and my husband can build trust with and then have them assist us in the delivery room.

A doula covered by health insurance. This is my second pregnancy, I am mild to high risk due to health issues. I am 36 weeks pregnant and I have been having a hard time with this pregnancy. I plan to give birth at St Luke's hospital. I need help as I have not been able to do daily housework as I stay on bed rest or at least try to keep my feet up because I am in a lot of pain.
