We are expecting our first baby girl around December 28th and plan to deliver at Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center. I’m primarily looking for a birth doula to support my husband and me during labor and delivery. I may also be interested in a small amount of postpartum support depending on cost, but birth support is definitely our priority. I would like to try for an unmedicated vaginal birth if everything is going well, while remaining open to pain medication or other interventions if I need them. I’m hoping for someone who can help me with breathing, positioning, movement, comfort measures, and staying calm and grounded during labor. I’d also love someone who can help my husband feel confident supporting me and work alongside him rather than replace his role. We are Christians and our faith is important to us. We plan to have prayer and worship music during labor, so we would love someone who is comfortable being in that environment. You certainly don’t have to share our beliefs, but being respectful and supportive of them is important to us. Our budget is fairly limited, so affordability will be a major factor in whether we are able to hire a doula. I would love to hear from doulas who offer lower-cost birth packages, payment plans, sliding-scale pricing, or who may be newer to doula work and offering reduced rates while gaining experience. We’re happy to discuss what might be possible rather than having a strict dollar amount. More than anything, I’m looking for someone warm, calm, encouraging, and knowledgeable who can help us feel supported and confident going into the birth of our first baby.

Hi! I’m looking for a Labor doula. I had an unmedicated birth with my second child with a doula, preparing to have a third child I want to find another doula to help me through labor. I just recently moved to Montana from Washington and unfortunately can’t have my last doula.

Hospital, under $1000, hoping for unmedicated but will go with the flow

Hi! I plan to give birth at a hospital with my husband. Ideally I’ll labor as much as I can naturally at home, then eventually get an epidural if I need it. Looking for someone with experience that is grounded and reliable with years of experience. Would like to experience golden hour, delayed clamping, skin to skin, a more holistic approach, etc.. I would like the Doula to be be certified and have at least five years of experience or 20 deliveries at least.

Bozeman Healthcare is where I plan on giving birth. But I would like some one to advocate for me durning the birthing. I would like to stick to a strict birthing plan
