Lactation consultant. I need help with supply and latching

Looking to get more information on a night nurse who can help first time parents after the birth of our baby. We would ideally be looking only for nights, for roughly 2 weeks after the baby is born so that we can rest and then get support for feeding, bathing, and getting used to a newborn. We are going to deliver at the Morgan Stanley children’s hospital in NYC and our estimated budget is 30.00/hour.

This is my second child after 14 years. I am starting all over and it will be my first time breastfeeding as well. I gave birth to my first daughter at the age of 14 years old. I gave birth on March 5th and the today is day 4, and I feel my best is engorged on both side. I used breast pump multiple times per day, but still only 10-15 ml per pump on both side. The baby latched on the first 2 days, but it’s a shallow latch, and he can’t suck out much milk. I would like to request an onsite visit.

Hello. I just had my third baby January 5th. He was in the nicu for 2.5 weeks, so he was fed expressed breastmilk and nursed while i visited him. He’s been home for over a week now and we are struggling mastering the perfect latch. I’m in serious pain half the time. Based on my knowledge/experience with my other two kiddos, my baby has a tongue tie and I suspect that is part of the issue. He is scheduled to get that evaluated on February 9th. But in the meantime, I would really like to meet with an LC to help us and if we go through with a tie release, I feel I need some guidance there too. With my first child, I decided to exclusively pump right off the bat. With my second, I pumped and nursed. But with this baby, I would really prefer to nurse more than pump, but unfortunately right now I’m pumping more because of the pain. I have horizon nj health insurance and really need to find a LC who can take my insurance. Thank you!

I am 26 years old and this is my first child so I would like someone to just give me advice and basically be there for me through this journey.
