About Bre

Hi, my name is Bre. I am the mom of a preschool kiddo and the step mom of a teenaged kiddo. I live in Ames with my fiance and our kids. Between working in preschool classrooms, in home support and my own postpartum experience, I have noticed that one of the things we need most in this society is good parental support, especially in the postpartum period. I hope to be a positive support for families so they can enjoy their postpartum experience just a little bit more. I provide evidence based information on newborn care (think sleep, feeding, soothing etc.), postpartum recovery, meal prep, light housekeeping, and sibling transitions. I strive to be the most positive support for you!

Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Postpartum Prep

Let me help you get ready for baby to be here! This may look like meal prep, education on newborn care or postpartum recovery, arranging baby’s nursery, helping to prepare older siblings or getting the house in order (light housekeeping) 4 hours of support, scheduled in 1 to 2 home visits

$120 USD · Flat rate

Daytime parent support

This may look like
Assisting with newborn and/or sibling care
evidence based information (feeding, sleeping, soothing etc.)
Light housework
Running errands
Min of 3 scheduled hours

$30 USD · Per hour

Overnight Support

Let me take over baby care while you get a good nights sleep! This package includes overnight baby care, light housekeeping, light meal prep Scheduled in 4-8 hour increments, shift must be over by 6 am

$40 USD · Per hour
