|
Location: Kendall, FL 33156, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: March 17, 2026
Birth at hospital, estimated budget is $2k - $2.5k. **GENERAL INFO & PHILOSOPHY** --- - **Goal:** A low intervention vaginal birth - **Support Team:** Partner, doula - **Flexibility:** We understand that plans can change; the goal is to communicate preferences clearly but we are open to medical necessity **INDUCTION** --- - **Avoid inducing labor:** If water breaks before contractions start, wait 12 hours and induce labor only if labor has not started by then. In this scenario, avoid digital vaginal exams unless necessary. **LABOR PREFERENCES** --- - **Environment:** Dim lights, quiet, low stimulation, calming music - **Movement:** Free to move, use birthing ball, shower, squat bar, or chair - room with tub, if available - **Monitoring:** Intermittent (ideal) or mobile fetal monitoring - continuous only if medically necessary - **Hydration/Food:** Allowed to drink clear fluids - **IV/Access:** Saline lock preferred over continuous IV fluids - **Pain Management (Non-Medical):** Massage, breathing, water immersion (first stage), counterpressure, TENS, hot compress (second stage) - **Interventions (Avoid if possible):** - Pitocin - Artificial rupture of membranes (AROM) - Episiotomy - Forceps/vacuum **DELIVERY PREFERENCES** --- **For a vaginal birth, I would like:** - Warm compresses on perineum - To choose own pushing position (hands/knees, squatting, side-lying). - For my husband to cut the umbilical cord, unless medically not recommended - For my baby to be put directly onto my chest immediately after delivery - To begin breastfeeding my baby as soon as possible after birth - Pitocin for third stage of labor |

Anaya is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Princeton, FL, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: August 19, 2026
Hi, my name is Anaya. I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant and enrolled in UnitedHealthcare Community Plan Medicaid in Florida. I’m located in Homestead, FL, and I plan to give birth at Jackson Memorial Hospital. I’m seeking a non clinical birth doula who can provide: • Prenatal support and education • Continuous labor and delivery support at the hospital • Postpartum follow up support UnitedHealthcare has informed me that I may qualify for a community based doula program, with an estimated coverage range of $1,000–$1,200, and I am currently in that enrollment process. While I haven’t created a detailed birth plan yet, I’m looking for guidance and support as I prepare. Breastfeeding is very important to me with this being my second child, so I’m especially interested in lactation education and breastfeeding support during pregnancy and postpartum. I’d love to know if you: • Accept UnitedHealthcare Medicaid • Work with community based Medicaid doula programs • Or assist with single case agreements, if applicable Thank you so much! I look forward to connecting and learning more about your services. |

Location: Spring, TX 77388, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: January 10, 2026
My 2 week old newborn has a shallow latch and it hurts when he nurses. I also don't know if he is getting enough milk so we have been supplementing with formula. Additionally I don't know how to get him on a sleep schedule. Sometimes he sleeps for 4 hour stretches and others he wakes every hour or two. I'll be returning to work soon and I need help to regulate him before I do. |

Delaney is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Temple, TX 76501, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: November 20, 2026
My name is Delaney Coleman, I’m 29 years old and pregnant with my first baby. I found out on March 28 that I am pregnant, and I am excited and nervous. Depending on cost, I’ll probably end up giving birth at a hospital, but my ideals line up more with midwifery/birthing center processes. My estimated budget is probably no more than $500 if that is even possible. I don’t know the general charge for a doula, but I would love a very experienced one who can advocate for me and my husband when we are stressed out and vulnerable at and after the birth. I would like a physiological, uninterrupted birthing experience. Cervical checks are not needed unless there is a medical emergency. My water will break naturally. I do not consent to manual rupture unless absolutely necessary. I will push when and how my body tells me to. I do not want coached pushing unless I ask for guidance. Hands-off approach during pushing unless I request support. Warm compresses only if I ask. I will choose the position I give birth in. Low lighting and minimal noise in the room. Cord clamping should not be done until the cord is white and no longer pulsing. The placenta will detach and deliver on its own. Up to one hour after birth is normal and safe. After one hour, if there are medical concerns, intervention may be necessary. No cord traction, pitocin, or medications to speed placenta delivery unless there is an emergency. Immediate skin-to-skin after birth. No separation from my baby unless medically necessary. All procedures and medications for my baby must be clearly explained beforehand. I want uninterrupted bonding time after birth. We would NOT like any Vitamin K to be given to our daughter or heel pricks done, unless she is born by vacuum, forceps or cesarean My husband or myself will cut the cord I would prefer if nobody was to take or hold my daughter unless there’s a medical emergency This is what felt right and safe for me and my body. Every birth is different this was simply my choice. I do have Tourette Syndrome, which I can go into further detail about with my future doula. I am predisposed to potentially have twins (runs in my family, has always been fraternal twins). Any other duties would probably simply be to help me prepare for baby and help me possibly with some lactation consulting. Otherwise, I have some family members who can come over the first bit and help with household chores if need be. Unfortunately, due to my insurance type, I am not sure what will be covered in care, so the lowest charging with most experience doula is right up my alley! I don’t really know how this goes. |

I’m needing help get my supply back. My baby won’t latch she haven’t latched since birth which I’m fine with but I can’t make milk for her now. I’ve tried supplemental, I drink about 5-6 cups of water while at work and 2-3 while I’m home. I’ve tried body armor, lactation snacks, I make sure it eat all meals and snacks in between. I constantly pump every 2 hours the longest I’ve went is 3-4 hours due to work. And I don’t make 1 ounce put together. I’ve tired power pumping. Please help |
