I am a birth support friend trying to help connect someone with a doula in their area. This site helped me match my cousin with a doula previously! 1) She will be birthing at Denver Health in Denver, CO. 2) She is hoping to find someone that accepts insurance. 3) No fully set birth plan, we are working on that while looking and can expand more once in contact.

I am currently only pumping because my baby won’t eat off the breast. He will latch but then not suck.

At the hospital we immediately had issues breastfeeding. It hurts extremely bad when he latches, and the pain persists through the whole feeding but slightly less than the initial latch. Its a sharp, needle like pain. I need help finding a way to feed without the pain. I need a lactation consultant who can help find the right method with me.

My baby won’t latch since birth. I have been pumping and bottle feeding and trying to get her to latch at least 2 times out of the day. We do skin to skin. I have used nipple shields and the guards to see if any milk is going to her. But she won’t latch and just screams no matter what I do.

I need a safe space so what I say is heard before birth during birth, and after I would like someone that is sympathetic and easy-going I have a very hard at home life and it’s affecting my pregnancy now I have a high risk pregnancy and I have gallstones i’m not getting the best. My birth plan entails trying more options instead of induced labor and epidural. With my first. I had very bad experience with both.
