I am wanting some help with breastfeeding. The last week or so my daughter will only latch onto my right side in the football hold instead of cross cradle like she normally would. I’ve tried offering it that way and she gets frustrated and won’t latch. I’m also interested in knowing if she is getting enough. She nurses on one side for about 5-7 minutes and then she seems full and pulls off. I offer again but she isn’t interested. She has plenty of wet and full diapers and seems satisfied.

Someone who can help a third time mom make breastfeeding more comfortable. My baby is 5 months old, super wiggly, and doesn't stay latched very well. This makes him frustrated and then nursing just becomes a fight. I usually need to swaddle him tight and get him close to sleep in order for him to nurse for a substantial amount of time. While talking to my pediatrician she said that I need to position my baby lower and learn how to bring baby to breast rather than breast to baby. I'm trying but it feels super awkward and I need support to figure this out. I would like someone who is covered by insurance.

University of Utah Unsure of budget Epidural, vaginal birth, no induction

I plan to give birth in the Bountiful, Utah Labor and Delivery Hospital. I am a low income pregnant mama receiving Molina Healthcare insurance through Utah Medicaid. Any assistance with budget is greatly appreciated. I hope to have an unmedicated, natural vaginal birth with little to no medical intervention. I also hope to receive postpartum care and counseling as well as lactation and breastfeeding counseling. My goal is to give birth and follow up with prenatal and newborn care as naturally and holistically as possible with medical care at hand in the case of emergencies.

My 6-month-old has had consistently low intake (under 24 oz/day), with feeds ranging from 0.5–3 oz approximately 7 times per day. She is collapsing bottle nipples during feeds and has developed a strong bottle/nipple preference. Attempts to increase nipple flow have resulted in refusal. Her weight percentile has decreased from the 52nd to the 22nd percentile. I am requesting a feeding evaluation as soon as possible, including assessment of oral motor function and tongue mobility (IBCLC or feeding specialist referral).

I am a 21 year old black woman and I plan to have a natural , vaginal and unmedicated birth at the hospital . I am looking for a doula who specializes in care for women of color. I have medicaid and this is my first pregnancy so I am not sure how budgeting and payment works.

I'm planning on having a hospital birth. I'd love to find a doula that is covered by insurance. I'm still putting together a more detailed birth plan currently since we recently found out we're expecting our 2nd baby.

Hello, I am desperately looking for a dula to help with an unmediated birth.

I need help getting my baby to take a bottle or milk in any kind of cup. He’s been exclusively breastfed, but I’m currently pregnant and my milk is drying up. I’ve been trying to get him take milk from a bottle for a month with no luck. I’m also trying a syringe and that’s not working either.

Hi! I’m just over a week postpartum and have been really struggling with breastfeeding. I thought it was going good and then at his appointment he had lost 12% of his weight. Since then I have been pumping and supplementing with formula. I don’t seem to be getting any more milk increase and it’s just not going to be doable anymore to pump every two hours without sleep. I’m looking for any help and advice to get it figured out before I just switch completely to formula. Thanks!
